If labor is imported in Mahrashtra then Maharshtra goods (Textile, petrochemicals, drugs, automobiles etc) and services (bollywod films, stock exchange, banking (SBI, RBI, LIC, Port services ect) are exported to rest of India including UP and Bihar. All these have created jobs in Maharashtra. More money is transferred from rest of India to Maharashtra than the remittances by labor. What happens, if rest of India bans bollywood films, goods manufactured or imported through ports in Maharashtra and demands all major offices like railways, oil companies, banks are shifted in other states equally. Just imagine the number of jobs and prosperity Maharshtra will loose. Also, if the principle being suggested is that no body should work and go out side his state then let Maharshtra first take initiative and pass a law that no Maharshtra resident can leave state (even out side india) and then Mr Thakre should implement this rule on Maharashtrian leaving Maharashtra by use of similar force. Let Maharshtra show first that it believes in the principle and implement it for its own resident as an example before beating and forcing poor outnumbered migrant labors. Abhay

You Miss the point, Maharashtrian problem is also all other states problem including Punjab,Karantaka and Assam. These people are just too many, they infact in few dacades decides who will be chief minister oin TamilNadu if Tamil Nadu develop and BIHAR remain Lawless. So locals are worried, and it is justified.Answer is Simple,BIHAR and UP must develop faster. Can you show me one city in BIHAR which has developed. If these people move to developed cities, they will make BIHAR in thei towns

Please drop the debate on developed cities of Bihar. Jamshedpur and Bokaro are single industry based towns and anyway are no longer in Bihar. Admit it, Bihar is not developed and will not be in near future and the people need to move to other places for challenging jobs given the slowdown in govt jobs.
There are obviously Muslims in this forum who never care for INDIA.They seems to be anti RAJ,but given a chance they will stab all Hindus, including UP Hindus in the back at given chance. And don't like history where 16 year old boy called Shivaji took on Afghan,Turkish invaders sitting in Delhi to enslave INDIA. I want all Indians to know Hostory,During Panipath War ,when Maratha's were crushing Mughals,Mughal's went to Forign Muslim contries for help against Indians. They Begged Iran to fight Hindus. There is no such thing as Muslims of India loving INDIA.At the first chance they will sell india to ARABS and Persians.

Couldnt help but comment on your perspective of HOSTORY. Conveniently ignored that the Muslim rulers in India also fought against the other muslim invaders of those countries. Mughal's return was against a Muslim leader. Indian born Muslim rulers og Mughal dynasty removed jazia. Many Hindus prospered under them also including Hindustani classical music. And so on and so forth. And in present times former President should seal the argument. Also do not forget many Muslims defend our borders in Army. You can work on your perspective and rectify the HOSTORY to HISTORY.
UP and BIHAR people are the targets. I find these people are hated by all communities in India. Not that they are bad,but they are just too many of them spoiling local cultures.Ask Punjabi they will tell you.

maybe you should not generalize, people with village boorish behaviour get the same treatment in cities like in Mumbai people just barely tolerate 'Ghatis'. If you still want to find solace with your earlier perspective you can freak out at the old North Indian proverb - Laatho ke bhooth batoon se nahi mantein
