How is this justified?
by Biswajit Gupta on Mar 01, 2008 11:57 PM  Permalink  | Hide replies

Few people here continiously shout for someone's death penalty.
Now what would they say if paki people shout in that manner that one spy , one enemy, one convicted of death penalty is being released ?

Biswajit, can you please keep the silly minority talk to yourself? A POW is different from a terrorist prisoner. Any civilized society makes and should make that difference. That's why when Pakistani soldiers were buried after the Kargil war and cut into pieces. A soldier has to repected, irrespective of his affiliations. In the end, he is just carrying the order and the call.

Return of Kashmir Singh
by Sudarshan Supe on Mar 01, 2008 11:47 PM  Permalink

I feel extremely sorry for Mrs. Paramjit Kaur and family as 35 years, by any standards is big period. Moreover, She must have had difficult time for up-bringing of children in the absence of Mr. Kashmir Singh. The appropriate Authority shall glean some information for others who are in Pakistani jail and try to get them released and make their family happy. Sufficient financial & social support must be provided for those family whose Sole bread winner is in Pakistan Jail for the India's Defence/Security, and has laid their life in Jail. If any movie director wants to make movie on this, please provide half of the earning as help to the above said family of whose bread winners in Pakistan Jail and 25% to Mrs. Paramjit Kaur family.

when some film actor misses a dance step it becomes a front page news across india, when a soldier goes away like this for 35 years no one cares. This is the irony of india. We are now a nation of people who want fast money and glamour at some others cost and labor, and we worship those who achieve this. No wonder, frustration is rampant among the "failed" people across india. media is the biggest culprit is glorifying glamour and wealth.

That is why I always say who the hell are these (Bollywood people and pliticians called HEROES.
They are just clowns (in Punjabi we call them Marasis).
The true heroes are these solders because of whom we all breath air freely, walk our streets freely and sleep at night peacefully.
Salute the real heroes and not these idiots who do not have any shame and will even sell their mother if required.
LONG LIVE THE SOLDIER.

Well said. The RSS will oppose the glorification of Pakistanis, and the Left parties will oppose the opposition of the RSS, because that's what the Left parties are supposed to do - oppose.

No one cares about a life of an amry man in India. Here he was part of Army intelligence unit and for half of his life lived in Pakistan jail...This may be a good movie plot for Bollywood but for Kashmir singh and his family the ordeal was their own! Jai Hind..

What a big basted you are enticejuan, who wish to make mockery of some ones misery.
How about selling your Mother in open market or parading her naked in Delhi bazaar then we will get a film made on that I bet it will celebrate a jubilee and make you a multi millionere.
Like the idea let me know I will buy the production rights straight away and pay you in cash.
