RE:Why should Mumbai be in Maharashtra?

Looks like you have faith in the paki state. India is a federation, and not a state. There are millions of things wrong with the way we are governed, but it won't help you to become a Jaichand or a Mir Jafar. We have plenty of them in the country.
Certain groups of people are backward because of their culture and values. It is of no use blaming the productive people wherever they might come from. North Indians are no threat to us, illegal Bangladeshi muslims are. Marathis can also learn to live with higher ethical standards and demand less from the government, and then they too will make progress like Karnataka or Gujarat.
Mumbai has never benefitted from Marathis, and even today, they are a small minority in Mumbai, mostly in menial and government (bribe-extorting) jobs. Because of their capacity for violence (like muslims), they have got more than their due. They have border disputes with almost every state around them.

That is because we are broad minded like Hindus are about Muslims. But now we have stopped taking more guests. So pack your bags. We gave you a room and you are telling us that we are not fit to live in out house? You deserve the beating.

Do you realise that our Marathi servants will starve if we (not me, but several others) leave Mumbai? Whom will your people extort money from? Mumbai is not of the Marathis, and today, even your violence won't work very well.
well, those who are targetting Raj, should also understand that both Shivsena (who wants Raj's image to be tarnished) or SP (ditto-ditto) could be behind these attacks. Raj can not stoop to such low level. Talking against somebody is different and attacking a respected personality is different. Many people can take political mileage by doing such acts. Think before you attack Raj.

Why should he joing Congress-NCP alliance when what he wants is something very different? Such gains are normally taken by politicians of BIMARU states. Mr. Bal Thakare e.g. has never wished to become Chief Minister even when he could do so.
Are you aware that about 50% of population of Gwalior and Jhansi are Marathis? CM of Rajasthan Vasundhara Raje is Marathi? South Super star Rajnikant is Marathi? about 2 lakh Marathis live in Calcutta? Thousands of Marathi manus are in Bangaluru?
No where Marathi-manus gets badly treated- then why this anti-non-Marathi drama? Why cant you guys behave in civilised ways?
What have done for Mumbai? All the top collages-Hospitals in Mumbai are by Gujaratis-Parsis-Sindhis, Marwaris. Can you give one good example?
Raj is a successful politician, nowadays he has emerged as one of the most discussed person in the country. He has also earned money like Lallu , Amar etc. Amitabh has become a scapgoat, to hit his uncle BT and northites too. He has got very good campaigner - Sweta Parulkar, who is managing his publicity, knows the nerve of lower section of the loacal marathi, they just follow him and his instructions and never want to know from where he is gaining this much wealth. As all our politicians irrespective of their religon & region are corrupt, selfish, selfcentred, not responsible for the Nation building & towards society, Raj is also not different from them. Amar Singh seems to be a more political broker than any leader, Amitabh should keep himself away from such politicians. It will be in the interest of the nation, the young leaders like Raj Thackeray should be more responsible, the damage done to the poors can not bring any glory in his crown, even if he wins the election,he will be also punished by the God, like VP Sing, got the blood cancer
