Am no RSS pracharak. However, they receive very negative press.

From wikipedia:(http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Rashtriya_Swayamsevak_Sangh)

The RSS was instrumental in relief efforts after the 1971 Orissa Cyclone and the 1977 Andhra Pradesh Cyclone.[26]

Famous Sikh Journalist Khushwant Singh credits members of the RSS with helping and protecting Sikhs who were being targeted be members of the Congress(I) political party during the 1984 Anti-Sikh Riots.[27] He said:

"It was the Congress(I) leaders who instigated mobs in 1984 and got more than 3000 people killed. I must give due credit to RSS and the BJP for showing courage and protecting helpless Sikhs during those difficult days”[27]

The RSS has also participated in relief efforts in the Indian State of Kashmir, which has been besieged by Islamic terrorism (see Terrorism in Kashmir). An RSS-affiliated NGO, Seva Bharati, has adopted 100 children, most of them Muslims, from militancy affected areas of the region to provide them education at least up to Higher Secondary level.[28] They have also taken care of many victims of the Kargil War of 1999.[29]

The RSS assisted in relief efforts quite extensively during the 2001 Gujarat earthquake. They helped rebuild villages.[30] They "earned kudos" from many varied agencies and sources for their actions.[26]

Sewa Bharati has also collaborated with several relief groups, such as the Catholics Bishops Conference of India to conduct relief operations in the aftermath of

When there were was a major earthquake at Morbi in Gujarat some years ago, RSS teams were among the first to reach the affected area and set up relief camps. That this is not publicised is not surprising, both from their point of view and that of our 'secular' media.

You fool, you don't realise that you had fallen into her trap. She had delibertaley send this message to invite comments which ridicule Bihar and Biharis. She is certainly not a bihari. By the way, your comment is sterotypical and have no freshness in idea. Think out of box.

You can vote only for a fresh election as and when it is held if your name is present on the electoral rolls. If you had not voted in the past, it iosirrelevant

Your intention is amply clear. You want to invite comments ridiculing Bihar. U r sure not a Bihari, as such silly questions are never asked by any Bihari. Politics and elections is not unfamiliar territory for them and they don't look to outsider for a lesson on voting process.

Unless and untill any party have clear majority, none of political party can take strong decision. Like BJP was not able to build Ram Mandir due to NDA and Congress is not able to sign N-Deal due to UPA

You should read the book "The Assassination of Mahatma Gandhi" by K L Gauba. See how many people of the RSS were involved. The entire conspiracy, they even decided to put the blame on Muslims as Godse was disguised as a Muslim when he shot the Mahatma.

swaminathan,
maybe you do not know that whole story. why have sections of rss glorified godse. why did rss in those days not condemn the killing outright. why did they hold back the condemnation even when asked point blank questions.
