But then Pakistan attacked Kashmir and so Nehru said that he won't release this money as that will be used to kill the soldiers of India. But Gandhi peristed and went on a hunger strike which made Godse kill Gandhi.
Godse was wrong in killing Gandhi but so was Gandhi when he asked the money to release to your enemy.
