Opinions expressed by Shahid Siddiqui reflect nothing more than the sick mind that exists within a Muslim politician who hopes to remain relevant by pandering to baser elements within the extreme fringes of his own community.
There are many in this world – their faith or the color of the underwear they use have no bearing – who don’t accept what Bush is doing in the name of a War on Terrorism. I believe that if the Iraqi people don’t have the right to hang George Bush for what they perceive are his crimes then the American people don’t have right to do the same to Saddam Hussein . Morality should never have to factor in military power.
But it would be naive to suggest that India should keep its distance from the US because a fringe group of Muslims feel anguished by what Bush has done. For those with great secular minds this may be OK . If based on the dislike of the Sangh Parivar of the Islamic Republic of Iran some one were to suggest that the Gas Pipe line project be shelved would it sound secular ?

Archana, be sensible in your comments. You don't get yourself used by others for their benefits. Work hard, be patient, pray to God, you will get what you want. We do not need any favour from any political party and we can carry on with our work as usual.

strange logic ,mr bhardwaj.just because large per cent of europeans have ignored relgion,do we become irreligious.or unsecular because muslim countries are so.
Hindu votebank & talk of it is secular as well. Any party asking votes in name of Hindu interests is also Secular. How can only Muslims decide what is secular (Anti Hindu). Time to talk about Hindus in India & all over the world. Muslims were never secular & will ever ever be secular. The are secular only whne they are minority , once in majority they change colors.

Upper caste Hindus are also never secular. Only non-upper caste Hindus are secular.

Disenfranchise them, if they do not learn to look at national issues without the aid of the prism of religion. Every citizen must think what is good for their country first, before thinking about what another nation is doing somewhere else. We are not concerned about Israel or Palestine as it is totally a matter for them to resolve. It cannot at any stage be so decisive to play centrestage on Indian voters decision to vote any way they choose. If these Muslim leaders do not learn to behave in a patriotic manner, one should say good bye to them. Let them emigrate to Iraq, Pakistan, Palestine, or anywhere else they like if they want to fight American treatment of those nations. Let them not mess with India anymore. We are sick of the communal leftist politicians also for the same reason.

please vote for N.Modi as PM.and ban voting upto two decades atleasts.
Till now, I was not in favour of India signing the agreement. But now that the Muslims will not want it and will oppose Congress once it is signed, I feel India must sign the agreement and alienate the congress from muslim vote bank. That is the best we can have for India.
Of course muslims all over the world feel US is anti-muslim, but everybody else feel muslims are anti-human beings.

Such kahaa Taaoo, par Kangres ki sarkar jo Sachar Commission aur Muslime Bujut ke agende par chal rahi hai, kya us se yah ummeed ki ja sakti hai, ki woh Musalmanon ko naaraaz karne wala decision le le? Kangrs to Kangres, Bhaajapaa bhi aisa nahin kar sakti. Yeh BJP waale kisi se kum secular thode hi hainge.
