by rakesh kumar sudan on Jun 28, 2008 06:04 PM  Permalink

The parsi community in India has lost one of its most adorable patriot. The ocmmunity has made contribution in the form of Tatas the name that comes here as a natural relevance.Indian armed forces had a blen of an all-victoroius Napolean,Alexander or Ben Gurion in his personality.May his divine soul rest in peace!

I think both Pratibha Patil and Advani are real crooks. One is a ghaatii (or a ghaatini) and the other one is a Sindhi. Not too surprising, eh!

Courtsey is not in our culture
by Sandip Dhara on Jun 28, 2008 05:56 PM  Permalink

They are to make money there. Why we are so much shocked?
I will set one example of courtsey.
It is not necessary to blame others, when we praise someone. In particular, when all of them are involved in development of the country.
Check in USA, none of the senetors blame Clinton while defending Obama. Similar is the case when it comes to McCain vs Obama.
We may chose one for any specific reason, courtsey demands either we praise both oposition leaders for their respective contributions, or we should be concerened of ourselves after 50 yrs of independence.
I find this country is lived by hapless and hopeless only.

this is real time to think as citizen in direction we want to take our countray. the politician who even cannot maintain the decorom of the house are inside the parliament. we are the r esponsible person. we should the take lesson from the USA that in 12 year of the political history of the usa graduates most reputated universities like Yale and Harward ha sgiven the lead to the nation. we are largest democarcy in world and hae chosen those leaders who even cann't speak. therefore how we can expect that they wil give preferenec the leagendr peopel like field marshal.

Sad But True
by Anonymous on Jun 28, 2008 05:53 PM  Permalink  | Hide replies

Unfortunately India is going through a lean patch where it does not have any politicians with the class of Sardar Patel, Dr. Sarvapalli Radhakrishnan and other heroes back in 1960s. All these current generation of politicians should get wiped out, India will be much better without them.
Give Afzal another chance and make sure he does his job this time.

Hats off to you Sam. India shines because of people like you.

We the citizen of this great country salute you, Filed Marshal!!!!
Shanti... Shanti.... Shanti.....

Another instance of national shame, well exhibited by those who live for themselves and not for the nation and the public....
