The article makes a sad reading. One can understand politicians of all hues not caring to pay their last respects, but why did the service chiefs stay away?
It has come as a sheer surprise and disgust the way SAM Sir was forgotten by elite mighty politicians , the Top notch Army officers and as well as beurocrats . Its an act of shame on their part. WHile they are busy indulging in silly gimmicks with CPI/CPM over the nuclear deal but they forgot the very issue that it was due to such highly decorated officer that saved us from the 1971 defeat which was for sure had he not shown his dissent to the PM and had he not shown his far sigthed ness.,......what will nuclear deal do had there been no country at all........it is a history that under his command , the biggest ever surrender took place (93000 soldiers )...........I SALUTE YOU SIR ......WHOLE NATION SALUTES YOU SIR .....MAY WE PRODUCE THOUSANDS OF SUCH OFFICERS ....GOD SAVE US FROM SUCH USELESS POLITICIANS. ... Can we afford to entrust nuclear matters to the politicians without the active participation of ARMY , NAVY and The AIR FORCE......JUST PONDER !!!!!!!!!

Its very sad and I feel very ashamed by the act of these politicians and the so called important personalities. Each and everyone are here for fame and money, be it a cricketer, politician or a film actor.
I thank and salute the true heroes of our nation, who guard us and protect us.

Mr.Sharad PAwar was watching the IPL matches laughingly when the jaipur was being blasted and reeling therafter trying to get back to normalself....had there been some glamorous party all wud have been there.
i feel ashamed as a indian today....india had always been a disrespectful nation...thnx mainly to congress 4 tht...if sm indian ws head of congress ,, he mus have admired the honour n legacy of SIR SAM BAHADUR....i salute u sir... im so inspired 4m u tht at one time i wanted to be a militaryman.....SALUTES
Our heroes deserves these kind of treatment as we have selected our MPs and MLAs. As we fully knew that these peoples are filthy and moneyminded and they donot care for the society and yet we are selecting umteen times as our sole representatives.

That is sufficient evidence how mad this field marshal was after some premier post like Chairman of PUB.Ltd.Cos. (he is not a smple independent director - designated CHAIRMAN). For his position he should have satisfied with Field Marshal and should not have entered business cos., and ultimately help looters with messages on Co.,FD ads. SO TRUTH IS ALWAYS TRUTH and u cant squeeze the necks to suppress it.

Hello sweety i pity u, either u r innocent or maniac. Truth is always truth. Fact is always fact. It was and is a fact that this field marshal was CHAIRMAN of all those companies when they spindle public deposits. Not only that. USING his popularity at that time, given public addressing and big ads with his photos assuring security of those deposits. His overaction costed many public lost thier hard earned savings not only that some could not perform their children marriage, got heart attacks and so on. But this field marshal had longlife like PAPI CHIRAYU. That is present kaliyuga
