India is a secular country..secular means that every person should respect the religion of the other.But for some people it means provoking and hurting the religous feelings of others.The policies of the government have systematically favoured minorities for their votebank, thus alienating the government from the majority community.The governmet gives subsidy for minorites to take pilgrimage from the tax payers money but when they(government) give some land to erect some temporary shelters for people taking the amarnath pilgrimage, the minorities raise a hue and cry and hold the state to a ransom.
I am not sure, where the progressive intellectuals are now, who yell on the top of their voices when something like this happens with the minority community.By systematically doing this the leaders are creating a divide b/w the minority and the majority community.

It seems that when muslim need haj subsidy they have no objection but when it comes to hindu matter, all the so called commi and congress, NC will keep their mouth shut. I dont say that BJP is right but in india no one should get exclusive advantage of their religion. why there is so much cry if amarnath shrine board gets some land. Why cant kashmir people ask the land from Pakistan who has taken so much land.
Communal PDP like BJP. When they enjoyed power they were happy. Now they are also responsible for Govt decisions. What is problem if some land is given to hindu shrine???? Communal PDP is looking for narrow political gains. Second face of BJP.

First of all J&K is a disputed territory occupied by INDIA/PAKISTAN/CHINA, there are numerous UN resolutions which are yet to be implemented.....so my good friends try to understand the Kashmir problem first before you go ahead and give it a communal hue. Kashmiri people don't have the same communal mindset that Indian people have be it Indian Hindus or Muslims. It was the great Mahatma Gandhi who during the communal riots at the time of partition said " I see the answer to all our problems in Kashmir". It was the same policies of the Indian Government which made so many Pundits leave Kashmir in the 90's. The 60,000 pundits who chose to stay behind continue to live there today in complete harmony with their fellow Muslim brothers. So go to the UN websites and read a bit on resolutions......perhaps then you will understand why J&K was never colonised by the British, Why it is a disputed territory and Why a Plebiscite promised by the PRIME MINISTER OF INDIA IS YET TO HAPPEN.

Please wake up.. INDIAN MUSLIMS, its only INDIA that you will call home.. your ISLAMIC UMMAH will not accept you... try goint to pakistan or bangladesh or saudi arabia they will kick you out.

very well writing dear! but I want to tell you one thing that none of the MUSLIM wants to do that.there are very few muslim's who are a real Indians otherwise everywhere we can see the terrorist are MUSLIM's & MUSLIM's only.

What is the big issue in transferring forest land to the Amarnath Shrine Board? After all it was only on lease. PDP has shown its true face. For once, the Congress has been firm and deserves to be congratulated.
