SAM BAHADUR
by Ravi Ranjan on Jun 27, 2008 09:44 AM  Permalink

My Salute to the one of greatest generals & humane being on the earth and only few of worthy generals who served India.

The honesty fearlessness he displayed while tackling enemy and moreover the dumb political system of India is commendable. He fought the war against the Pakistan on two fronts and from third front against visionless and selfish Indian control center at the political apex..

Long Live Sam ,People like you never die they become immortal.

ALWAYS MISS YOU
by VAIBHAV SANGHVI / SOLUTIONS BIZ / RAJKOT on Jun 27, 2008 09:42 AM  Permalink

Sam Bahadur the title given to him by Gorkha regiment was very much true as it sounds. He was as brave as other martyrs and war heroes of India and to add he was witty, through in warfare and bold enough to put his words across whenever required.
We all love you and shall miss you. May your soul rest in peace.

A salute also to the finest community of India who has given us Field Marshal Sam Hormusji Framji Jamshedji Manekshaw and others we know who are contributing at large to the nation.

Terful eyes for Sam Bahadur
by rajneesh dev on Jun 27, 2008 09:41 AM  Permalink  | Hide replies

I couldn't control my tears on reading about Sam Bahadur's fading away. As a growing student when other classfellows worshiped the cricketers and bollywood heroes, my Gods were clearly Cariappa and Sam Bahadur. Such men arrive on this planet to make the normal ones realise what an ideal man is all about.

TRUE SOLDIERING !
by GRJ on Jun 27, 2008 09:35 AM  Permalink

Adieu Dear Sam Manekshaw,

Alas! ..... This is a separation which can not fill the gap of good battle soldiering of this continent.

When forces fght for a country's cause....it is the chivalry and valour. But to day it is caste ,community, and religion bases.

Where Dhals are traded, Liquor is resaled.....to prove that the true soldiering days of the west are a HISTORY.

May your soul rest in peace. Now it is bragging and inebriated tom foolery.
