SAM asked for 2 weeks time to destroy pak completely
by siddharth on Jun 27, 2008 09:07 PM  Permalink

Sam asked 2 weeks more time to Indira gandhi to completely destroy Pakistan during 1971 war. But due to western pressure indira gandhi immediately ended the war after 1 lakh pak solders surrendered. If given chance to Sam then pak would have never buildup those nuke bombs & terrorism to threaten us.

DEFENCE MINISTER ANTHONY IS NO A COMMUNIST... HE HAS FOUGHT COMMUNISTS MORE THAN ANY POLICITIAN IN THIS COUNTRY... HE WAS THE CM OF KERALA WHO IS THE ONLY COMMUNIST MAJORITY STATE WHERE COMMUNISTS HAVE A DIRECT CHALLENGE..

UNLIKE BENGAL WHERE THERE IS NO CHALLENGE TO COMMUNISTS

Salute to a great soldier and leader
by Ramesh on Jun 27, 2008 08:59 PM  Permalink

I respect him from within. May his soul rest in peace.

Sad about our service chiefs and the Def Minister.
In death, even enemies become friends.

Just watch if Sonia or Rahul have the slightest health problem. They will even carry toilet paper for them in full ceremonial uniform.

SAM BAHADUR AND ALL HIS BOYS !
by Purav Shah on Jun 27, 2008 08:52 PM  Permalink

SAM BAHADUR MANEKSHAW COMPLETED A WELL ORCHESTRATED MILITARY CAMPAIGN AND GAVE OUR DEFENCE FORCES A MORAL BOOSTING VICTORY. NEARLY 2 MILLION PEOPLE WERE KILLED BY PAKISTANI MILITARY MACHINE. THE BIGGEST MASSACRE OF MUSLIMS AND OTHER BNAGLA BABUS.

BUT WE ALSO SHOULD REMEMBER OTHER GENERALS,AIRMARSHALS AND NAVY CHIEFS. REMEMBER HOW INDIAN NAVY CARRIED OUT A DARING ATTACK ON KARACHI HARBOUR WHEN INDIAN AIRFORCE POUNDED THEM !

THANK YOU JAWANS OF ALL 3 SERVICES AND PARAs BSFs AND EVEN POLICE.

THOUGH SAM SAID THAT INDIA MISSED A CHANCE TO SOLVE THIS KASHMIR PROBLEM.

It is not befitting of a defence minister of the biggest democratic govt of the world to plead his inability to attend the funeral of a great warrior like Maneksha whose strategy and leadership brought a thundering victory to India in a war for the first time and who became instrumental in giving birth to "Bangla Desh".Mr Anthony does not look that sick not to be able to travel by air and some miles by road.Whatever be the reason,it is just & proper for the Defence Minister to make his presence on such occasions of solemnity filled with grief-especially when the funeral is being organised with state honours in contrast to what normally happens at Delhi for such celebrities. It is thoroughly disheartening to note that none of the three chiefs of the defence is also not participating the funeral of their role model;it is just belittling the departed soul and thereby the honour of the country it brought to the country. As in case of Narsimha Rao who too was glossed over even after death despite his great contribution to the nation, sheerly due to political reasons,Samji also is not getting the due honour, certainly, for reasons that donot meet the eye.It is time for the politicians to shun their spite,if any, against such an illustrious and proud son and salute to his soul with all respect. Field Marshal Sam Bahadur Hormsuji Framji Jamshedji Maneksha Amar Rahe!May God rest his soul in peace. We are proud of you Samji!Your soul continues to inspire our forces.Salute to you!!!!!!

You are right. But then this nautaki is gathered by the congress leader not to serve the nation but serve herself and her son. What to you expect. Some time back, we saw Laloo and Rabri sitting puffed face, when national tricolor was unfurled and national anthem played with all the police and security officials standing respectfully at ATTENTION !

Well said sir.

GOD BLESS THE SOUL OF OUR BELOVED SAM BAHADUR !

Our presentday defence minister looks like a dirt bhaloo.

Brahmananda Kumar,

You are so right when you say Government should publish the story or dedicate a chapter in history to great heroes like Field Marshall Manekshaw. Never will India have a great leader like the ones like him. How can you expect this from our government when the text books are written by College professors and not teachers who teach the specific classes and when you have education ministers who do not how to spell the word education or know the meaning of it? God help our future generations with the class of education that is being imparted these days everyone from the parents to the ministers are only interested in the percentage scored, but not in the values of being a good human being its a pity that children are forced to secure 90 and above %age and then forget what they have learnt the following year. The past generations still remember what they were taught in their nursery and KG classes. GOD HELP OUR FUTURE GENERATIONS WITH THE KIND OF EDUCATION THEY ARE RECEIVING TODAY.
