RE:approx money moved out of treasuries of maha, by the rulers
by Raju Painter on Jun 27, 2008 12:59 AM  Permalink

First Last,

Just wait and watch!

India is going to collapse under its own weight and "growth rate"!

How long can a nation which declares a bania as its father going to last?

I agree with Raju that there are chances of India collapsing. Not becoz a bania had been declared the father of the nation, but because even after getting educated, net literate, there are still pests in this country who classify people as banias, bhaiiyas, bongs, gujjus etc etc.
This is the state of this nation that education has made many stupid youths literate but actauly not educated them. There are many illeterate ppl who are more pragmatic than the so called educated ppl. Even 60 yrs afetr independence there are so called educated ppl who still speak the language of caste and religion and put the whole education system to shame.
Such inferior qaulity people exist in India, under whose weight the country will surely sink

Mumbi a best city in all respect.
by Chitta Mukherjee on Jun 27, 2008 12:32 AM  Permalink  | Hide replies

Don't blame Mumbi ,a city who feeds you. I go to almost all city, comparable to Mumbi and find this city more safe, hospilable to the outsider who don't live but come for business and visit relative & friends.
Yes, in one point Mumbi must think of that this City is for all like Kolkota, who is presently economically poor but very conscious , don't discriminate with local and outsiders in respect of state,Religion what so ever.

Feel shame!
by peter Ska on Jun 27, 2008 12:26 AM  Permalink

It must be the handiwork of an over ambitious budding journalist. The article shows little maturity and complete dearth of Shame.

Rediff gives them a chance to express, that part is ok, but what about ur quality and standard as a popular portal.

Anything can not go. Should think abt that.

by nitin betkar on Jun 26, 2008 04:57 PM  Permalink  | Hide replies

hey guys...why ur blaming abt mumbai public, there behaviours, civic, slum area etc.
for da insider who r living in mumbai.....don`t comment on topic...try to solve mumbai`s problem.
for da outsider who r not living in mumbai....this is none of ur business.
we r improving da mumbai day by day. it takes time 4 that but 1 day mumbai will be improve more than NY.
you guys told that we r rude but u forget tht we r helpful in nature. u only see -ve pt. wht abt mumbai`s ve pts. i know NY is more develope than mumbai but mumbai is da best.

Why is it the best? People are helpful in other cities too. And do you think that New York will stay the same while Mumbai improves? Mumbai is a very dirty, polluted and overcrowded city that is much hyped. Ask anyone who visits.
