the N Deal made a lot of sense..gives Indian validity and puts it in league with western nations..Pak & China would also be on alert..India alone cannot control Islamic terror. It needs US on its side.
RE:India needed US on its side

USA has created Islamic Terror: 1) Jimmy Carter created Muzzahadins in afghanistan 2) Reagan created Zia Ul Haque and Ben Laden 3) Clinton created Taliban 4) Clinton created Islamic state of Bosnia 5) Pakistan created 9/11 and got rewards from USA of $10 Billion so far plus all free weapons 6) George Bush created another Islamic state of Kosovo. 7) USA pushed up oil prices to make the Arab Skeikhs fantastically rich.
Thus, USA will not help India. Obama's father and step father are both Muslims.
What matters is the security of the country from nuclear attacks by China and Pakistan and India's freedom to develop nuclear energy freely without being a slave of USA which since 1974 did everything to prevent India from developing nuclear energy.
One should never trust USA. Who would be foreign policy adviser of Obama: Albright, who during the reign of Clinton did everything to destroy India. Clinton has created Taliban. He has asked Benazir Bhutto to send 20,000 strong Arab Army to Yugoslavia to create muder and rape against Christians and some of them later were send to Chchenya as well. Clinton tried to stop Russia to send engines for the Indian rockets and sattelites and imposed most draconian sanctions against India. The same Clinton allowed China to export anything it likes to USA but put restrictions on Indian exports.
McCain has close links with the US Army and Colin Powell, who declared after visting Vajpayee that Pakistan is the NATO ally of USa.
How can you trust USA, who wants to sell its junk obsolete nuclear plants for a fortune. If there would be an accident like Bhupal in 1984, USA will not take any responsibility.
Common man is suffering from inflation, job losses, lack of housing, floods, Gurkha problem, Marati Problem, Muslim problem in Kashmir again: a responsible government should take care of these first.

Ur absolutly right. More I read abt this deal lesser I like it. Probably left is right this time. In congress rule poor has become pauper and rich are becoming billionaires. Is this what's suppose to happen. Why there is so uneveness.
By opposing N-deal they proves thay are not different than communist party. Teach a lesson to BJP who is desparate to come to power ignoring their principle.

What do u know about the neuclear deal in detail to say that BJP is oppertunistic in pilitics. Don't u know that country is in deep domestic troubles other than this USA sponsered problem. USA is in Hurry to sign it before the new election. India also is going for election. Why both Govt's can't wait for the new Govts to decide.

In your opinion even those scientists who have opposed the deal with facts, figures and deep analysis are also like communist party. Dude, just because the CPM is opposed to the deal it does not mean the deal is good for the country.
Plight of 15000 people from Delhi Dwarka are waiting for their house for last 4 years which are supposed to be handed over through society draw by DDA in accordance with High court order. Alas DDA/RCS govt body is delaying as much as possible supporting Gurgaon builder lobby interest and chanting the mantra of 4000 cr CGHS scam. What a poor serviceman has to do with scam which is between govt, officials and the builders. Common man has paid up his life saving on market price to buy the house. If bureaucratic system fails why the junta has to pay the price. Hats off to this govt. for sucking common man for their interest.

Don't use such languages when you are not knowing the things in detail. People's mempry is so short. So Perhaps the most good works done by BJP are forgotton some times by people like us. Recent electon results shows prople r distancing themselves from UPA. The trend may change.

if left were not available, the deal would have been signed and india would be well on the way to being a powerful and rich country. To stop that, illiterate commies stopped the deal.

Don't worry.... such jokers are dime a dozen on this forum . . . hijacking ID's left right and center
the central point that BJP/Commies are harping on is that if the deal goes through, India will give away the option to test.
this is bullshit. this is being used to scare people into opposing the deal
No one can stop us from testing. According to the terms, if India tests, further supply of fuel will be stopped. ie till the time India tests, we will be getting the fuel. ie if we test after 3 years, then for 3 years we will get the supply of uranium. Considering India's current fuel supply which is very low, even a years supply is a big deal for us.
Further, after 6-7 years, India will be developing thorium based reactors. India has abundunt rerserves of thorium and so will not be dependent on International community for it fuel.
Now these facts should be known to everyone. No wonder people in the know like Brajest Mishra have supported the deal. Inspite of this knowledge, if a person is opposing the deal, then he is benefiting China because every year that we spend without fuel, China develops a huge stockpile.

BJP is not fooling people. They are clearly saying what they are thinking, and what they will be doing.
There are others who are going around in circles for the past year or more. That's where you must direct your detective energies, if your quest to find the "people foolers" is still active.

That's my morning joke - BJP not fooling people. Those jokers fool people ll the time
BJP are as big traitors as the Commies(CPI/M). By voting against the deal they are directly helping China's gameplan.
Everytime it gives some stupid reasons as to why they are not supporting the deal, but the fact of the matter is that they are not ready to give Congress credit for this historic accomplishment.
It was time to rise above petty politics and think what was good for the country. But by opposing the deal, BJP proved that they are also traitors like the CPI/M.

I Agree, BJP is just power hungry....Just for the sake of criticising Congress they will not support the deal and outside they talk about progress of the country to people and criticize Left. For them they just show patriotism and hindutva in public when it comes to national interest they dont care, this is where we suffer, I am sure if this deal was offered to Pakis all pakis would have forgotten their internal differences to get a hand over India. Bloody Traitors BJP and Left. I would vote for Congress no matter what in the up comming elections.

dont fall for the communist or khakhi chaddi propoganda.........
If the deal was bad, why would everyone including APJ Abdul Kalam, Brajesh Mishra (who incidently was BJP's National Security Advisor), Anil Kakodkar(Dept of Atomic Energy), all eminent scientist support it?
The very fact that China and Pakistan are so strongly opposing the deal means that India will substantially benefit from it.
The deal is critical for India because right now, Indian reactors are operating at 50% capacity (some even less) for want of fuel(uranium) and the present supply is also limited. If the deal goes through, then due to US backing, we will get abundant supply which will put us at a huge advantage vis-a-vis China, which is why, they are opposing (through CPI/M) it so strongly.

u forgot to include some more prominent politicians like Karat, Yechury, D Raja. he he he
how can u compare wisdom of Rajnath over that of Kalam? let that aside "who said what" just examine the facts..........
Indian reactors are running on very low capacity. We are urgently in need of uranium. If we dont get that soon, China will be way ahead of us in nuclear capabilities.

Hey Shirodkar:
Since when did Congress opposers become traitors? I thought that after the Emergency was lifted in 1977, that particular definition was shelved by Indira.

It is not opposing Congress but opposing India's national interests that make u a traitor.
Due to BJP's opposition to the deal, China and Pakistan will benefit at the cost of India. thats why I have called them traitors like the commies who are working for the same objective.

In which language?
For example:
BJP and the National Democratic Alliance would renegotiate the Indo-US nuclear deal if voted to power to insulate India from the provisions of Hyde Act which prevented India from conducting future nuclear tests.
OR
"BJP is unwilling to sacrifice the country's strategic options," he said.
When asked about the Comprehensive Test Ban Treaty, the BJP president said the issue was that the UPA government is signing a treaty that prevents India from future tests if it is necessary.
Above appear to be anti-national to you?.... Maybe you are reading it in Italian. First translate into English please.
