communist threat to national security
by Praveen George on Jun 24, 2008 12:27 PM  Permalink

It is pretty clear that so called Left Front is controlled by "Masters across broders". It is very sad and pathetic for our nation that our biggest enemy, eccnomically (just look at the number of industries which are laying of workers due to dirt cheap chinese imports), politically( because except commies we all other indians believe in democracy and participation of citizens in the governane of state), security wise(we have active running border disputes with china, more over china comprehensively defeated us in one war and illegally occupying large tacts of indian territory) is able to influence matters of our national interest so comprehensively using more than 50 MPs of Chinese Party of India Marxist and Chinese Party of India. We Indians should be ashamed of ourselves for the fact that we are accepting and silently tolerating this chinese party memebers are jeopardising the due place of our nation in the International order. More shame to us, since we are doing it when all world, due to the run away hikes in crude prices are looking for alternate energy sources, especially for nuclear energy. It is clear, not just in Olympics or in Football, we are a nation of one billion silent spectators without any spirit or patriotism.

Is it US or UN to monitor?
by Shyam on Jun 24, 2008 12:27 PM  Permalink

One the one hand they call it International treaty, and on the other hand the US says it is exclusive calendar of US. Is US the guardian of the whole Universe? Why are they so scared of others making research? After all any matter of International importance is concern for all nations equally and US cannot term its own needs as international one and force on others. And I fail to understand why our MANNU BHAI is so scared and so much interested in this treaty personally, notwithstanding opposition by politicians and scientists alike! Is the economist selling our sovereignty for pittance to the US? He should come out clean and open about the need for the treaty as this is more of national importance than a matter of Congress and its allies.

Kashmir violence over shrine land
by Tamil Arasan on Jun 24, 2008 12:09 PM  Permalink

Why our biased media is mum on this issue...

Government spent billions of rupees on Huj subsidy "WE HINDUS ARE NOT AGINST IT", but Muslims are against allotting land which will be used for the construction of pre-fabricated huts and toilets for the pilgrims.

Sad to know we Hindus are treated as third class citizen in their own country...

Why US is so enamoured about Nuke deal with India???
by jamsheed basha abumohammed on Jun 24, 2008 12:08 PM  Permalink

US is interested in strengthening the NPT and eroll more members so that it can enjoy the monopoly in the nuclear field being the sole policeman of the world with Nuke arsenal in plenty. What is to observed here is NPT will become functional if all the Nuclear countries of the world abandon their programmes and destroy the bombs stockpiled there. In the first place, US, France, China and Russia should clear the stockpile and then urge other countries like Israel, Germany, France and Pakistan to destroy their boms in the larger interest of the world community. If this assurance is given, then all the countries in the world would join NPT. When some of the countries like Israel is armed to the teeth sitting in the midst of the Arab Countries, how do US expect Iran to abandon its nuclear programme. So far US has no come out with a clear cut policy towards Israel's nuclear capability. Why there is no attempt to stop Isreal from making bombs or stockpiling it when the situation in the gulf and Arab peninsula is volatile. Any nuclear strike in the area would destroy three fourth of oil reserves of the world and the whole world would come to creaching halt. This is the danger of Israel holding the stockpile of nuclear arms and to match it, Iran and Pakistan naturally developed their own nuclear capability and whats wrong with it even if India has bombs. Security is prime and to safeguard India has done us proud by producing nuclear capability in self defence than threatening others.

Open Secret of U,S vested interest
by Anoop Kumar on Jun 24, 2008 11:58 AM  Permalink  | Hide replies

Why U.S wants to help India by amicably asking to sign the nuclear deal. If its intention is so friendly it can help many underdevloped countries where thay lack Nuclear technology but have large power crisis like Kenya and many other Africa-Asian countries. Think about it.
