We all know that left is making decision as per the chinees influence. If this deal is troubling so much to India why China is guiding left to oppose this?
Some link is missing here.
Other logic is China is not in picture. Left has smelled the huge deal like (Bofors) and eying on that they are asking congress to share it. But Congress is not ready to share the chunk. But for Public it is this drama.
Another option is Left is very much Patriotic!!!!!!!!!!!!!!;';..,,,''?

Be a smart Indian. If the deal goes through most of the investment in to civil nuclear plants will come from developed countries including the US. If there is any problem with fuel supplies that would affect mainly the investment made by these countries. In fact in all probability these companies would fight our cause but to protect our investment. Do you want a proof. It is US companies that fight for more H1B Visas in the US and not any of these self declared patriots.

Yeah they fight for more H1B visa because its ultimate beneficiaries are they themselves, I dont say Indians dont benefit out of it but the day they have an option they will discard Indians. Americans are dear no one, it always "My intererst" for them. Remember Dabhol where the enron tried to blackmail Maharastra Govt for higher prices due to invst. it would again be the same case. US companies will sell there products to India, its not investment my freind.

There will be no investments by American companies, Indian tax payers have to pay to import American equipments. Remember ENRON, how much did it invested. It ran away with Rs.6300 Crores from the Industrial Development Bank of India and then the Americans creditors got another $200 millions from Man Mohan Singh. This is what you call investments????
By singing the nuclear deal the Congress Party will have enough fund to run the Party for at least another 100 year. There is also an added advantage, the real issues like inflations, will be done with. Nobody knows what is written on those dotted lines, what is intriguing, in spite of having a "Right to Information" law in our country, how come the Govt. can go ahead with the deal, keeping the entire country in the dark. This deal cannot be a secret deal, as this is not related to defence, its purely a business deal. So the people of this country deserves to know what is there.

This is greatest opportunity for congress.....They will sell the country at all cost....
There is a saying in cricket that you should never attempt to take a run when there is confusion in fielding to avoid a chance for a run out. The proposed nuclear deal with US has evoked strong both pro- and anit-sentiments. Why must India "run itself out" on the field when there is so much confusion surrounding it. It is often the small print, often overlooked, that gives us life long agony.

this is golden opportunity for them to make money that's why they are in rush......
I hate the communitst but i agree with their point that govt is rushing into the nuke deal without due considerations to its implications to indias nuclear deterrance. Nuke deal has been framed to lead india into a US made trap. UPA is leading india into a mess. I have no liking for the left but i do support them in their point that nuke deal is not gud for the country. It sanother matter that they might have oppsoed it as its a deal with US. But over all this deal is going to strangle india of its nuclear freedom. A request to the Congress not to lead India into a Mess. They have already messed up the inflation in the country and now they are trying to mess up the country's security.

1) This 123 Deal is against the interest of the country and we do not need it.
2) If we want Nuclear plants, we can get it from Russia along with fuels. There is no need to beg Fuels from Australia or USA and give up India's nuclear weapons.
3) India has enough natural uranium and the technology to create nuclear fuel.
4) 123 Deal is the same as NPT. You cannot have nuclear weapons if you sign it.
This is the reason USA is pushing India so hard.
When was exactly USA interested in India's needs???
Never.
For the last 60 years USa stood against India. USA is a NATO ally of Pakistan and allowed China since 1972 to have every lethal weapons via Israel, France, and Germany.
Now it is so concerned about India's energy needs. It has sent ENRON a few years ago to rob India. It has sent UNION CARBIDE to kill Indians.
Now USA wants to take away India's nuclear weapons and stop all research & development efforts for nuclear energy.
The US is dangerous. It wants to control the whole world in whatever it does. If somebody comes to you offering 'free' help and benefits one should doubt it. It applies to everything in this world. There must be great benefit to the US and allies in this deal. Otherwise they will never push for it.

Yes We must get all our software engineers working there. After all, according to you, by working in the US they are only helping this country to become more dangerous. Perhaps the same applies to all Indians who are now citizens are residents of US. Yes get all Indians back from this dangerous country

If this deal is purely to create tension between India and China then we will never benefit. China is not going to look behind....60 years of tension has given nothing to India or Pakistan....As far as business is concerned US will always be a bigger partner of China as benefits are great and use India for other purpose. In a time when US economy is going down and its survival as super power is becoming impossible so they need India.....We signed a deal with British East India company we saw the benefits now we again see the benefits after nuclear deal. Some will certainly become billionaires but nation as a whole will pay the price in the end. US has so much nuclear energy then why it is slowly moving from recession to great depression. Those who ride on a sinking ship thier fate is known. Only fools commit same mistake again and again......I hope India is wise enough to learn from past mistake of East India company deal.....
There is a limit to the amount of power which can be generated with conventional hydro or cola means. Hydro power though cheap, in most of the cicumstances comes at a heavy cost to the environment and our fast disappearing Forests. Even with tapping all available hydro power still our nation will be left with a large gap in the energy security front. Coming to coal, our nation is not self sufficient in coal, if so why our power companies like Tata Power and Reliance Power buying coal fields in Indonesia? Moreover coal is a major ingredient in making steel, which India needs in large amounts for so many coming years. Again coal fired plants are main culprits in increasing global warming effect which is threatening our climate and affecting even our food security by unpredictable weather changes. (The draught in Australia and the resultant reduction in wheat output, the resultant run away hikes in global wheat prices are one example though it may not be the only reason for hikes in price of wheat). We should not forget the fact that no power source is more costly than no power condition. Just look around and see how many companies, shops and commercial establishments are running in diesel generators, how many pump sets are working in diesel due non availability of electric power. Fact is we need nuclear power. For that we need to import uranium. For that we need to sign international safe guards and agreements which guarantee that the imported uranium will not be used for weapo

But there is a catch! For running our present nuke plants , we are sacrificing our wings being cut throgh this DEAL!!.Our future Energy security lies in Thorium based Fast reactor technology, as outlined and being implemented by Bhabha and follwers. We have big reserves of Monasite sand , sufficent for Future India. This deal deal categorises Fast reactor technology being developed in our country as Military installation. They can inspect our Fast Reactors on suspision and put a hold on developmentof these reactors, as USA has NO fast reactor programme. If they are giving something we should be very careful before accepting. for example they Gave CRAY computer when we ourselves gained knowledge to build one like that.
