Albert: BJP translates as 'indian people's party', where is hindu communalism in it? But, BJP is 'communal' for you, but all 'moslem leagues' are quite 'secular'. For churchians like you and atheists like MK, hinduism should exist only as 'casteism', for conv and votebank exploitations. As religion, hinduism should be considered dead, sanskrit a dead language. Hence, saying anything in sanskrit is 'hindu communalism', as also the survival or revival of inter-caste unity among hindus. But then, churchians can use sanskrit: call churches 'devaalaya'; God as 'parameswar'; bible itself the 'veda' and 'agama' by your priests. Hindu temples, gods, vedas should be forgotten, to facilitate this. Jesus will not approve.
I do not think India is about to self-destroy; but those who try to destroy hinduism may get destroyed; also those who fall into the caste-couldron at the instigation of anti-hindus may also find mutual destruction, like meenas vs gujjars of rajshsthan.
Well, where there is hatred, violence, terrorism, divisiveness, for any reason, there is no religion or any god. Self-destructoon is fully deserved. Leave evil to destroy itself. Perhaps, some good may still survive, by whatever name it may be called.

Sterner measures may be required to keep them in check.
We may need the government of India to all Marxist related activities and declare illegal the spreading of Marxist literature.
A total purge of all institutions of the state is an absolute requirement to weed out these termites from their cushy jobs.
Only a strong Nationalistic government at the center can take such measures where a new LAW shall be passed:
THE PROTECTION LAW:
LAW for the protection of the INDIAN republic and ITS PEOPLE from malicious and soul destroying ideologies.
This las will have all the clauses for banning and declaring MARXISM illegal in our country in all institutions including Arts, Media, Science and Politics.

(If communists can send the capitalists to re-education camps in Cuba and China, It is perfectly LOGICAL to do the same with Communists in Democracies)

Albert, you know very well hindus did not want to partition india at the time of independance. Only suhravardi, jinnah, mountbatten forced it on us. Gandhiji did not even participate in the independance day celebtation.
One mistake nehru made was to give full adult franchise without prescribing any sociological education for qualifying voters. A whole bunch of selfservers have entered the political arena, ensuring that the bulk the poor are kept under-educated votebanks blindly voting for them on caste and creed considrations. They are intensifying these animosities, by minority appeasement and caste-based reservations in educ and emoployment. China, which was worse than india 60 yrs back, has forged ahead socio-economically. If educated and informed citizens in all castes and creeds rise up in unison for india for all indians, exposing the machinations of the crooked politicians, these can be sidelined and non-divisive policies can be framed and progress accelerated for all, individuals given affirmative assistance as reqd on considerations of poverty alone, not caste or creed, race, color or sex. Most of the ugly politicians in the country today deserve to be packed off to the andamans. The younger generation has to take an objective interest in politics, without being just the flag-bearers and jai-shouters of these scoundrels running family empires in most of the states.

Communists are behaving like islamist fundamentalist people. I am really surprised how personal and party interest can lower a party's value to such a low extent. I knew that communists are against the usa, but the way they are doig, they are basically opposiing the country's basic needs. I find this is a kind of anti-nationalistic activities, and in that regard, their activities are no less sever than what the terrorists are doing all over the country. The whole communist party has become the breeding ground of anti-indian anti-developemental activities. At this point, the gvernment should strongly ban all communism activities over the country like what USA does.
Please remember that next time when you give vote for a communist, you are basically identifying yourself as a suppporter of human rights violations and anti-nationalistic activities.
Mr Karat, if you read this message, please understand the fact that, no where in the world the communists have succeeded. If you think you are going to be victorious, I suggest you to come out of that dream and look at the history; look at what happened to USSR, Romania, Bulgeria, Checoslovakia... It will not be too long until you will be dragged to the street and killed by your own supporters.
