Check the contribution of Sikh & how they fought with the Musalim barbarian to protect Hindus.
Even in independent India Sikh soldiers scarifies for their nation..!!
They never asked weather they were facing bullets for "Punjab or the city they live" Because they fought for INDIA..!!
For your information they are a part of Indian Community who were brave enough to face "Aurangzab kind of Musoleems" not a coward Hindu...!!
As far as the current Mumbai Mess is concern, all this is a part of politically supported drama.
This is a reputation of which was earlier played by congress....!!
So be a true India and don’t come into trap of these politicians "FIRST CHECK THE FACTS WHY THIS IS HEPPENING, THEN BLAME ANY ONE"

I would add- too mush of the wrong religion is dangerous- the wrong cults are Islam and deda-guy worshipers (euphemism for xtians).

ravindra paaji sikh gurus and shivaji troops are of same era...aurangzeb and whereabouts....
in north they protected hindus and same time they(if present) and other religions in south was protected by Shivaji...if u want more info go to wikepedia and search aurangzeb....
wut i say is its more of bhai chaara at same time bcos of common enemy known as islamice and not one community doing ehsaan on another...

Mr Amar Gill, You are right.It was because of casteism/brahamanism and misinterpretation of vedic scriptures which led to fracture, weakening and division of society thereby easy prey to barbarian/Babarians. But this misconception of hindus of india as a whole oweing their existence to sikhs or sikh gurus is not understandable and agreeable.It is agreeable for the hindus of J&K, Punjab, HP,Haryana and Delhi or some other parts of hindi north. There were no sikhs before 13-04-1699. After that they were refered as hindu militants nearly upto 1920s. It is after SGPC control of gurdwaras that Sikhs actually became a separate religion controling their affairs.
We need to understand my points in depth and details.
Sikhs did not come from any other land as "Sikhs" with a sole purpose of saving hinduism in India. They and their great gurus were sons of soil/Punjab. They were hindus/punjabis/indians beyond doubt, and question. In the absence of sea routes those days, greater punjab was the gateway to India for all the invaders.It had made punjabi community relatively better warriors than hindus of other parts of India.Even today's indian and pak armies are officered by punjabis effectively. It were punjabi hindu followers of gurus who resisted the moves of Aurangzeb.

Impartial, Sikh guru ji never gave their life to hear from you that you are accepting their sacrifices or not ,they did it as per their prinicipal of not accepting any JULM of any body on any body,as they felt that all humans are ONE GOD's only (EK NOOR TEH SAB JAG UPJAIA)& THEY also made it clear to followers that they were not against ISLAM but those time's crual muslim rulars only. So its upto you now how you interpreat all this history.

Ravinder Ji, It is only insane person who can question the sacrifices made by great sikh gurus and sikhs for their motherland and community.
What I have pointed at is a misconception or a misinterpretation or a belief or a misinformation or a twisted and turned history.
Few sikhs with a little knowledge about sikhism like to boast in this forum.That causes disgrace to sikhs and sikhism.
Sikh gurus were not against ISLAM word or term but they were definitely against islamists otherwise they would have embraced it and avoided bloodshed and bloodbath in subcontinent.
Shri Guru Gobind Singh Ji was founder of khalsa/sikh.Please read Vachiter Natak and Zafarnama and other books written by him.You will find that he has asked for social biocot of muslims.
