BAD TIMiNG !!!
by rajkumar singh on Jun 21, 2008 12:03 AM  Permalink

This is indeed a bad timing on congress part. I aean if you look around then everything is going worse, from petrol prize to installation to nuke deal. If MNS was so particular about getting deal approved and if he has dare to go ahead without intimated by consequences then he would have gone for it last year itself. But if he did not do that time then certaily if he is quitting now then its because situation will go even worse. Inflation is out of control and days ahead are really dark for Indian economy. He never had firm grip on things, but somehow things were looking bright thanks to last BJP government, now he knows economy is about to doomed he wants to get some sympathy from middle class. hope it will not work !!

He signed the agreement bcoz it was in country's benefit. Isn't that what PM is supposed to do? But he never thought that people of his country will fail to understand the benefits this deal could bring.

BTW, BPO is here to stay.....you might burst while waiting for its end

Nuclear Deal
by abhishek mawle on Jun 20, 2008 11:31 PM  Permalink  | Hide replies

I am in USA right now doing my Masters, all I want to say is,it is not wrong to make friend ship with western countires but then we need to be cautious with these countries especially America and its allies since these poeple have a history of exploiting countries, people to their own advantage and we should ensure that there are adequate safeguards and safe exit strategies if the deals turns out not favorable to us.

Doesn't China exploit? What we need is a partnership, we can negotiate on the specific elements of concern. But why be without a powerful ally on your side?

Why can't Congress and BJP come together on this issue?
by Demo-crazy on Jun 20, 2008 11:29 PM  Permalink  | Hide replies

It is time Congress and BJP work this out in national interest. Otherwise, Congress should decide to go with like-minded parties and decide to move on.

BJP which initiated this deal earlier, and moved away due to electoral defeat, should reconsider its stand and go ahead and help sign the deal in national interest.

We are watching Chinese sinister designs in North east, and the communist parties are not even bothered about what is happening there. They are hell bent on keeping India away from USA, so that China can take advantage of a weak India.

Indian Communist's thought of neutral foreign policy does not hold water, in this world. You need to be with one or the other based on what works better for your interest. China has not been very friendly with India, the 1962 incursion, unlawful occupation of Indian territory, the un-ending drama of border negotiations, regular claims on Indian states like Arnuchal, Sikkim, etc are only signs of its hunger for expansion. They gobbled up Tibet, now have a friendly ruling dispension in Nepal.

We would be foolish to fall in the trap of independent foreign policy talk of the left. If they have the influence, let them make China see reason and withdraw from Indian soil illegally occupied by them.

Even though I do not normally support Congress, on this issue, I am willing to vote for Congress if it makes a commitment to sign the deal. I am sure many other Indians might think so. The crutch of communist support, is like a

The crutch of communist support, is like a problem child. There is no meaning of heading a coaltion and govern in such setup where you are blackmailed day in day out.

NEW CADER OF INDIAN POLITICIANS.......
by Proud Hindustani on Jun 20, 2008 11:28 PM  Permalink

These professional politicians have abused the democratic process by exploiting the poor people by bribing for votes. The new government MUST have education as the top platform. Rest will automatically follow--an educated voter is the best voter.

The new cadre of politician pool should come from retired/active professors, armed forces, IITs, IIMs, IAS, IPS, self made private companies CEOs, technocrats, Lawyers, etc. you get the picture. No nepotism. No more Gandhis. Every second national landmark has the name of Nehru/Gandhi family.

CHINA AND PAKISTAN WILL BE UNHAPPY IF WE SIGN THIS AGREEMENT
by ramoo on Jun 20, 2008 11:18 PM  Permalink

SINCE CHINA WILL BE UNHAPPY THE COMMUNISTA WILL BE UNHAPPY. THEY WILL ALSO SHOW HOW THEY ARE AGAINST THE AMERICANS - WHERE THEY GO EVERY YEAR TO HOLIDAY- TO THE INDIAN MUSLIMS. BUT THE SACHAR COMMITTEE HAS SAID THAT THE WORST STATE OF AFFAIRS OF MUSLIMS IS IN BENGAL.
THE BENGALI MUSLIMS AR UP IN ARMS AGAINST THE LEFTISTS. IF FREE ELECTIONS ARE HELD UNDER PRESIDENTS RULE THE LEFTISTS WILL NOT GET MORE THAN 15 LOK SABHA SEATS IN BENGAL.

THE PRIME MINISTER SHOULD RESIGN AND GIVE THIS COUNTRY A CHANCE TO HAVE NUCLEAR FUEL.
THE CONGRESS HAS KILLED ITS CHANCES OF WINNING IN THE NEXT ELECTIONS BY TAKING THE SUPPORT OF THE LEFTISTS WHO WILL DUM THEM ANYWAY NEST TIME AROUND. THE BJP WILL GAIN BY DEFAULT BY THIS OUTRIGHT SUPPORT FOR CHINA BY THE LEFTISTS. WILL THIS BE WHAT THE MUSLIMS WANT. IF THE CONGRESS IS NOT ABLE TO SIGN THIS AGREEMENT THE CONGRESS WILL LOSE ALL URBAN SEATS. THE RURAL SEATS ARE ALREADY LOST DUE TO INFLATION COMING FROM PROFLIGACY BY WAY OF MONEY BEING SQUANDERED ON USLESS SCHEMES NREG EC WHERE THE POLITICIANS RATHER THAN THE POOR MAN HAS MADE THOUSANDS OF CRORES.

by Abhi Bhat on Jun 20, 2008 11:18 PM  Permalink

value for usdollar was hinged on its control of oil. With both control and oil vanishing, so now it wants to shift to the control of newkiller tech and newkiller material.
Just look at the way amru treat animals and add them to their menu you will understand what this species is capable of.
Why cannot we make a deal on solar energy and water purfication techs.

Unfortunately such heroes were marginalized by Nehru and clan and Congressites for 50 plus years.

Today for such a person to rise again has been made almost impossible by the corrupt politicians.
He will be killed. ONLY an army general can do it. The retired Army officers must get active in the political system.
