Mumbai police would have solved it
by Suraj Singh on Jun 19, 2008 12:00 AM  Permalink

I find this case very, very puzzling. Have you noticed how high profile cases in Delhi take twists and turns and servants are blamed? Exxample Nithari.

Some more unanswered questions...
by Demo-crazy on Jun 18, 2008 11:47 PM  Permalink

Rediff is the first one to post a definitive line about this case. In a recent report, the AIIMS doctors questioned the shoddy handling by UP police who had got the post mortem done. In that report there is a mention of some fluid discharge on her body but the post mortem team and the UP police have not bothered to preseve the samples which could have been useful for further forensic examination. In this report we find some verification of that finding. So, potentially, this is the handiwork of the servants. I read elsewhere that Dr. Talwar had taken sleeping pills that night. Was Nupur also in such deep slumber that she could not hear any cry for help? Or, was the girl gagged and silenced so she could never shout for help? So far, none of the neighbours have heard of any cry for help of any of the victims. In that case, it looks like these servants are accomplished killers. How did they manage to silence Hemraj? Did he also get a chance to shout?

Strange case ... !
by Prithvi Sriidhar on Jun 18, 2008 11:40 PM  Permalink  | Hide replies

Some1 enters the house and the Parents r not even aware of it ? I mean come on, I have a feeling that Krishna is trying to defend the talwars. I mean come on, this isn't practically possible that some one enters the house during mid night, without any noise , and the guy goes to the extent of trying to rape the girl in her own house when the parents r in the adjacent room ? What rubbish ? If Rajkumar tried to rape aarushi then there must have been hand-marks on her hands or face . But there was nothing of that sort. All they found was - Skull injury and slit throat. This is getting really mysterious !

There are possibilities of the group entering without any noise.

1. Hemraj was the conduit, he helped them enter without any noise. Either opened the door or allowed entry through terrace. The CBI checked the terrace route, and one could enter without the security guards knowing.
2. The parents are reportedly in deep sleep, either due to sleeping pill or due to alcohol. (May be their room was also bolted from outside.)

3. The girl must have been gagged. With Hemraj colluding, a sleeping girl being gagged is quite possible. Even if Hemraj did not participate in the heinous act, Krishna is naming two more persons - Rajkumar and Shambhu.

4. None of us have seen the post mortem report or forensic report and we are speculating based on what little we know or we second guess! So, let us wait for CBI to formally reveal its findings.

I tend to believe the parents are innocent. Otherwise, by now they would have cracked under the pressure of CBI questioning. One of the two could have attempted ending their lives. If they had any real motive to kill their daughter and servant, they would not have done it at home. So, I strongly believe the parents are not involved. They have undergone tremendous trauma, irreplaceable loss of a loved one, and loss of their reputation. Will they ever recover fully from this?

They r liars to the core, the talwars. I really don't think that such a thing wud have happened. It must have happened in a fit of rage. Her dad must have accidentally hit her , else who the hell wudn't hear any yelling or screaming , if it's an adjacent room ?

rich ppl need additional help for thier domestic help
by krishan soni on Jun 18, 2008 11:40 PM  Permalink  | Hide replies

so this is the result:
1) mostly domestic help stale things from houses.
2) they keep inform other ppl about inside activities.
3) senior citizens are at danger most.
4) womens and kids live alone in the daytime are at much risk.
since we all know how many old-age persons have been killed alone in New Delhi, why the ppl need domestic help for full day?

The nuclear family culture, children working abroad or in other cities while the elderly parents made to fend for themselves are the curse of modern age on our parents. In other cases, the parents may not have enough mobility and strength to tackle their daily chores. So, servants become inevitable.

The only solution is for some family members to stay at home with the elderly, servant utilization only during specific hours, and strict verification of servant activities.

We must remember we will also grow old soon, and we will be in similar situation and what do we feel if our children leave us in the lurch and go? So, let us make sure we care for our elders.

Great work by the CBI
by Vishal Sharma on Jun 18, 2008 11:31 PM  Permalink  | Hide replies

The CBI and its officers must be commended for resolving this case after the mess-up by the UP police ably misguided by the conspiracy theorists among its senior leadership. It was a pretty straight forward case after all, now that these facts have come to light. I feel sad for the child Aarushi that she died. And her soul must be given justice. These perpetrators must be executed till their own breath betrays them while they hang by their broken necks while their dying body twitches and turns. There can be no mercy for such perpetrators.

Don't know if the state police is capable of doing anything other than chewing pan and ghutka.

CBI is also not much behind in this competency, it seems.

Beating around the bush

I fail to understand the sorry state of affairs in this country as a seemingly simple murder case can force the country's premier investigation agency to beat around the bush. May the Almighty save this country from a certain disaster.

I totally agree with you. Lots of money, time energy being wasted on this. Media one after another are creating a hype.I suggest to open a seperate wing for investgating murders. In India for every 6 minutes one person is murdered.

That itself say how inefficient is the agency and also explains why none of the terror bombing culprits were not nabbed and why Maoist can fool the whole security system of the country..
