garbage
by ashok leyland on Jun 19, 2008 01:37 AM  Permalink

I read a report from German press that Italy is having serious garbage problems and that they are paying Germany to dispose of their garbage. PAYING to take garbage, NOT being paid like the Amenricans are.
And if they are the guys who sent the garbage how can they refuse to take it back?

Only we Indians can be so stupid and our government so riduculous that we can't refuse stuff that is not according to terms. If we cannot control garbage entering how can we control the millions of foreigners who are up to mischief in India from Kanya Kumari to the Himalayas, whether they are beefy Russians or cunning Italians? Or are they false Jap turists out to steal our flora and fauna? Whoever thay are we are foolsih to let them in, let then stay without knowing where the hell and how long they stay, let them treat us all as if we are slaves at their beck and call AND accept their shit as if this is some sacred offering.
Welcome to India, the land where shit has know distinction. If our Indian importers want shit they can take a walk by any river side, railway lines or along the sea coast.
Welcome to disease and pollution. After all are we not at the world's feet to serve and suffer for their comfort?

Is India the dumping yard for the Municipal Garbage of U.S.?
by Gautam nil on Jun 18, 2008 03:49 AM  Permalink  | Hide replies

Perhaps, our P.M., negotiated Nuke deal with U.S. for several tonnes of Municipal garbage of U.S. in return, that was to be dumped in India! Perhaps U.S. looks India down as its municipal wastage dumping yard! What a shame! The people responsible for such arrival of wastage to India should be immediately and unhesitatingly booked and severely punished!

nothing has any chance of going right in congressi rule. even the garbage imports end up costing a whole bunch of money; no telling what the nuke imports might cost.

can we make a barter - court should explore
by N Krishnan on Jun 17, 2008 07:35 PM  Permalink

Well I feel this mixture of stinking american municipal waste is anytime better than the stink created by our corrupt politicians, commies in particular.

Can the court explore the possibility for barter with the americans. We retain the waste but ship back our politicians with all commies as a specia discount. If they want they can keep them in Guatanamo.

Mishtuk became wrong??? Who?...just who, we ask, is sitting on the secrets? Three years? just the container hire should cause diarrhoea. Cargo does not just appear...there is a shipper, a consignee, freight and forwarding agents, sub-agents, charters, bills of lading, customs and excise, import duties documents, a carrier by sea and logistics by road and rail networks. Post 9/11 there is also the security angle involving port authorities...Surprise, surprise! so many bungled enmasse?? Should we get in touch with Guinesse for recording the only country in the world which accepts a mixture of plastics, leather and rubber and stores it for 3 years before reacting? Geez...what a mess!!!

blame ITC
by Dhorabh on Jun 17, 2008 06:19 PM  Permalink

importing such a huge tonnage by mistake sounds silly. Hold the company incharge of importing it responsible - ITC. This seems part of a bigger scam and the search for a scapegoat continues.
