He wanted to be the CM of Pondicherry but God saved Pondicherry from this villain. I have nothing against his caste, but he is just using the name of caste to make money for himself

DMK snaps ties with PMK
by krishnamoorthy lakshminarayanan on Jun 17, 2008 08:44 PM  Permalink  | Hide replies

Though I am a tamilian I pity the people of Tamil Nadu. Fortunately, I do not stay in Tamil Nadu. The tamils get what they deserve. A majority of them in the cities and in villages are influenced by TV,cheap tamil cinemas and the gimmicks of the politicians. They elected DMK government and they suffer. In my opinion, both DMK and PMK are crass opportunists. Karuna and PMK did not hesitate to join NDA when they were in majority. When Congress formed the government at the centre they deserted NDA and joined the UPA. See the functioning of Mr. Anbumani Ramdoss, our union health minister.See the functioning of DMK ministers Balu and Raja. These worthies are interested in collecting the monies for their Thalaivar. I appeal to the tamilians to reject both DMK and PMK in the next election. Unless you do this, you are doomed.

And pray how is it different from any other state. Which state in India is NOT affected by casteist-lunatics or thugs like Thackerey or Gowda? Govinda/ Vinod Khanna or even Big B like characters just jump out of vulgar movie screen and win elections. So what is different about TN alone? Let's apply uniform standards in condemning.

Two unworthy parties are fighting each other. The Tamils deserve only this kind of parties since they fall easy prey to freebies.

Ramadoss at least never hides his intentions. He has said on more than one occasion that he will go with the party that will give him maximum seats in elections. What of the DMK? They were the original thugs and extortionists during MK's first reign in 1969-71. The PMK are only copycats.

You are right, Raj. I am proud to be a tamilian but not of Tamil Nadu under the grip of politicians like Karuna, Ramdoss, etc. It had produced many national leaders like rajaji, Kamaraj, Annadurai, CS, Moopanar who were not self serving. Many tamilians occupy envious positions in the country and outside. Some respondents compared tamil politicians with Thackeray. Thackeray fights for an ideology whether you agree with him or not. What is the ideology of DMK? Loot the state for the Karuna's family and perpetuate family rule. The DMK philosophy is anti Hindu. How many criminal cases are brought against Stalin. The entire police force is doing the bidding of Karunanidhi and Stalin. This is the state of affairs. If you are outside Tamil Nadu, then you get the clear picture of what is happening in Tamil Nadu.

Cunning
by Concerned Indian on Jun 17, 2008 08:21 PM  Permalink  | Hide replies

The PMK leaders are the most cunning in the country. They know just when to desert the sinking ship. They usually leave an alliance they think will lose the next elections about an year prior to Lok Sabha polls. That ensures that they always tay on the right side of power. They will now ally with Jayalalithaa and the NDA. Height of opportunism !!! And after such shameless flip flops, they will not lose a single vote....

DMK Snapped Ties with PMK - A Right decision
by jamsheed basha abumohammed on Jun 17, 2008 08:16 PM  Permalink  | Hide replies

DMK leadership has taken a right and bold decision in snapping ties with the unreliable ally PMK. Ramdoss is known to switch loyalty when the winds of change are visible. Now that there is widespread anger against the present Central Govt and so also against Karuna's Govt in the State, it was clear that he would switch sides. Towards this end, all his leaders logged horns with Veerasamy and others and openly critised some of the policies of the Govt that angered DMK. It is to be seen how the Congress and other allies react to this decision of the DMK. PMK is not known to be friendly with DMK especially in the Vanniyar dominated districts of Salem, Dharmapuri, Vellore and Kanchipuram, where they would like to dominate. Yet people like Veerapandi Armugam, a DMK Minister, who is also a Vanniyar himself, command sizable influence in Salem and adjoining districts. He is the only thorn in the flesh of PMK and with his influence he can do or undo for PMK. Some of the defeats of PMK candidates in Salem was attributed to him. There was no love lost between Arumugam and PMK leadership through out. It is this one upmanship that has ruined the alliance. In any case, DMK should have snapped ties long back and now that it has been done, all eyes would be on Ramdoss next move. He is certain to move towards AIADMK who is ready to welcome him with open arms.Already Vaiko is with Jaya and PMK would certain add to the strength of the alliance.Karuna being very clever himself could negate this.

If ADMK did the same, Karuna could welcome PMK saying "We are tamils". So in politics, all can happen and Jaya wants to retain centre,so she will. PMK won't move out of center to ADMK as there is no immediate election. They want to enjoy the power. So no new alignment there.
It all depends on DMK. But DMK is also a cunning party and they will put cases against all PMK top guys and take them into DMK.
It all depends on how center performs. IF Jaya feels, it is not necessary, she wont take him and or otherwise, she will bargain hardly.
It is not the end and there may be reproach happen.
Please note that there is no difference b/w DMK,ADMK and PMK and all are same cunning parties and are oppurtunities. The game is not yet over

sharing of benefits...
by Senthil Kumar on Jun 17, 2008 08:11 PM  Permalink  | Hide replies

This is mainly due to the sharing of benefits. Karuna does not want to share, only he and his family has to gain all the benefits of being in power. Earlier only dayanidhi was benefited, hence he was thrown out.

All these dravidian party leaders are looters.. they lost confidence in people. Earlier ramadoss told in public that if any body from his family occupies the party / ministerial post people can beat him. Now, anbumani is central minister... what to do?

Ramadoss is caste leader but some cases he is better than karuna.. like he is against free schemes TV gas etc. His channel "Makkal TV" does not show any program related to cinema and useless serials, only educating programmes. The langauge also good. In karunas tv, you can hear only TANGLISH and half nude comperes and prgorammes. But in stage always he talks about Tamil, Tamil culture, pure Tamil literature tamil and all.. but he never practices...

what to do? it is the fate of TN!! we have one chidambaram he is fit for nothing...man of taxes did nothing for his contituency though he is a minister for fourth term...

God is the only hope!
