When left has lost whatever little support in the world. West Bengal & Kerla will also be lost. They are supporting sonia congress for there existense only. so they have no guts to take the support back from the government.

Need a educated and informed electorate...
by imran patel on Jun 16, 2008 06:56 PM  Permalink  | Hide replies

Unless, we as the people of this nation reject failed policies and kick these bumbs out of office...they will keep dreaming of coming to power and be a cancer to our society.

They must be defeated soundly in elections.

We do not seed more populist appeal. We need to have a coalition of sound economic minds from all corners of the country that believe in free market economy, that treasure individual freedom and believe that government involment is not the answer but part of the problem.

For this to happen, we need to get over the illusion of a cradle to grave government care.

One thing I do not understand is, we all know that politicians are corrupt, inefficient SOBs. So why do we put faith in the government and expect government to make things better when the government is run by the same people whom we do not trust.

The government is a pool of the worst parasites. We cannot get rid of it (we need it in some cases), but we can minimize the role of government.

What the LEFT wants to do is to have bigger governments. Which means less freedom and choice for individuals. How can we trust these "Good for nothing" politicians with our lives, our future, our children, our money, our health, etc.

But unless we wake up and reject these people and their ideas, we are doomed.

It is a wake up call to all my fellow citizens.

U guys are not getting my point.

It is important who is in office. But more important than that is to define the role of the government. What is their scope and responsibilities.

We have all this bedate between Cong Vs BJP. And nothing changes.

We need to debate what the role of government ought to be.

on CPI leader Bardan
by Krishnamachari on Jun 16, 2008 06:56 PM  Permalink

Most political parties give prominence the leader of their Trade Union but not the highest post in their party. This is the misfortune of CPI. Bardan does not speak like a Statesman. His vision is narrow and not arrived at by logical analysis.it is better to ignore his views with the comtempt it deserves. May god bless the left parties with lot more such leaders till they take the parties dust bin of history

OPEN LETTER TO BJP CHIEF RAJNATH SINGH
by Sanjay Pawar on Jun 16, 2008 06:49 PM  Permalink  | Hide replies

Rajnath Singh

It is now clear (and thank God) BJP would be coming to power after 2009 elections.

After BJP comes back to power, may I request Advaniji to open a probe as to:

1. The source of funding of most of Indian leftist politicians. If it is proved Indian leftists get funding from China, Leftist politicians should be thrown in jail.

2. In the last 50 years, list of leftist politicians who had/have sent their children to Western countries for foreign education and list of leftist politicians whose children are working in Western MNCs.

"BJP would be coming to power after 2009 elections."-This is what you people expected in 2004 elections also. But the result was never expected one...
But even if BJP come to power,I don't think Advani will do as per your request.
If he open a probe on financial situation of politicians he will find that leaft leaders like A.B.Bardan didnot have even a good house in his name.
But congress & BJP politicians are rich & got lot of corrupt money.
Just remember the "Hawala issue in 1998.All politicians except left part leaders involved in it.
And remember the BJP president Bangaru Lexman taking bribe, exposed by "Tehelka".
Left leaders atleast pocess some open ideologies & stands on issues. But the Sangh Parivar got only ideology of communal hatred & killing nonhindus like in Gujrat
