Nepal without MONARCHY
by Yaqoot Mir on Jun 11, 2008 10:37 PM  Permalink  | Hide replies

I think this is the advent of Chinese influence in Nepal, this will be one more reason to worry for India as far as proxy and clandestine border wars are concerned, same in line with Kashmir, with due time, China will have considerable influence in Nepal and Maoists will definitely be a handful for India.

The Commies must have arranged to bump off the Royal Family [who were popular] and put the blame on Gnanendra who was later disposed off!

This is a sign of thing to come!

There are enough moaist-naxals in India.

All they have to do is contest in elections with "external" funding.

Then the real fun will start in India's failed version of democracy!

If what happened with regionalism in indian politics is an indicator, we should see our omniscient neighbour making us feel its presence in the inlands of India!

Another sign India is doomed!!

Why are some people shedding tears

for the ouster of this moronic king ? Nepal can now develop into a proper civilized nation with modern values instead of becoming an exporters of chowkidars, mercenaries and maids.

Democracy zindabaad
by Loan Shark on Jun 11, 2008 10:36 PM  Permalink  | Hide replies

Let the will of people prevail ... there is no place for monarchy today and that too from a king suspected to have killed the entire royal family to get to the throne.

Sorry Loan Shark...

Their are many, and thriving monarchies....
Want to know? Note down:

UK - Queen's regime. Australia - Queen's regime.

India - Gandhi's regime.. .;-)

How come you are so ingnorant - saying there is no place for monarchy?

Loan hark,

This not the will of the people!

It is the will of China!

Have some patience! You'll see the same will being forced on India!

You can then kiss the property you amassed (shares or real estate) good-bye!!

Nepal: King Gyanendra abdicates throne

Rediff reporting sucks. If I click the link to see Nagarjuna palace, it opens a page with actor Nagarjuna's pictures. Please do a better reporting, rediff.

Maoists in Nepal
by sanjay singh on Jun 11, 2008 10:30 PM  Permalink  | Hide replies

Maoists coming to rule in Nepal will be bad news especially for Bihar as Naxalites from Bihar to Andhra will be having a safe passage to Nepal and may be to China in future for all practical purposes.Govt really needs to monitor this aspect as it may look like impacting Bihar to start with but ultimately has a potential to influence our national security .
