Pak army knows the dangers of do-good mode and acting as good boys for the world.
Without their "strategic defiance" or "Islamic Jihad" or whatever term you might use ... Pakistan will fragment into many parts ... like Punjab, Sindh, NWFP, Balooch !
Army knows this and hence, to keep the army united and keep in good spirits they need this poison which will act as binding gel and also will keep the country intact.
Pakis won't mind insurgencies becoz they know these are fruits of their poisonous school of thought but certainly they will resist dis-integration of their country (which is already in auto-mode) !
