No i dont want quota but i dont think in a democratic country the police have right to kill people ! If it has happened in the heat of the moment the peoples rulers needs to be compasionate. we need a ciilised leadership . it cannot be worse than the british raj

Democracy does not give right to forcefully stop trains and make others suffer, one's right to freedom stops when it breaches freedome of others. Tommorow every other group or sub-group will start stop trains or other economic/social activities of country and put forward their demand, isn't it comparable to taking someone for ransom, i mean one can say that those people who kidnap asking for release for some terrorist can also be justified on theis ground of democracy............holding country's assets, damaging public property and causing public nusence is no way brandished as democracy

Raje thinks that the British Raj is still in existence and that she is queen ruling one Indian State called Rajasthan. Just wait for elections when the queen Raje will be shown the door by the voters.

That is the right way to exercise one's right provided in democracy, not kidnaping some one, damaging public property, causing troubles to other people by disrupting trains and normal life..........

Rajastan CM should appologise and get the issue resolved
by sony kalloor on Jun 09, 2008 06:58 PM  Permalink  | Hide replies

The Rajastan CM should appologise to the gujjars for promising to give them status of st as election promise. She should also appologise to the people of the state for the inconvinence caused to the general public . She should compensate the traders and hotels for the loss of business.

She shouldas she woowed their votes saying they will be given the status. Now she is hiding under . Let her admit she made a mistake during her campaign and appologise.
The gujjars should then call off the strike and get into discussion. It is not good work to fool poor villagers brave election promises and then cheat them. If they cannot keep thei election promise let them appologise

Which political party for that matter has been truthful to the voters? Did the Congress? or the sundry parties of the UPA or NDA?

We have been listening to the lies of the Congress for more than half a century. Why blame the BJP alone?

British met india leadership after jalianwall bagh why is she hiding from the issue? yes if ST is not due dont give stand firm ? after all she is the part of the most brave party of the Brave Indians

CM is not only responsible for Gujjars who hold merely 3% of the total population in Rajasthan, she is also responsible for other 97% people of Rajasthan. What is the problem that these Gujjar leaders are facing in going to Jaipur. Who is having ego? CM or Gurjar leaders. They want her to come to their den so that they can pressurise her.

Why any one should apologise, if this is the sean then let every community should start stoping Railes and start roits to have there status as ST.
With this a day will come then entire India will be SC ST. Stop reservation politics, inspite of 55 years of independence , all reservation categories are where they were years ago. Its is just time wastage political drama.
