Oh man .....system is not like this ....if u don't have idea keep ur mouth shut ...OBC means ..U can be OBC in one state and General in other state ...based on financial status of ur caste ...or can say based on ur political power in that state ...likes Jats and baniyas n marwadis in few states ...so ..OBCs are always close to general merit ....yes begging for reservation is worse ......correct ur equation ...n now a days there are number of mba n engg coll r there ...if u r really gud...definately u will get one of them ...n later ...mnc will surely hire u ...so do sumthing don't be lazy ...n don't curse the system only ...
I am so glad that the Gujjar community has resorted to these violent and unlawful means to get what they want. Let the politicians now suffer for what they have unleashed in our society, the disease of casteism, vote bank politics and cheap opportunism. I hope the Gujjars are granted OBC status, as also every other community that demands them. Let there be bloodshed and a final solution to all these evils in our country.
Gujjar may get few more seats in govt services, but they lost their self esteem. The additional intake of gujjars in govt services (union and states combined) will not be more than 30 per year, as the vacancies in govt departments are dwindling. Meanwhile, a proud community have lost its self esteem in emergent India.

wud like to ask lt col bainsla retd. what did he learn in the defence service? does he feel the recruitment to the army navy air force shud also hv reservation, if yes, then we are happy he has retd fm army and and if he says no, then why is he indulging in these activities, instead of reasoning with gujjars, he is supporting such divisive activities that are in no ones interest.

Daniel Reservation is not the correct solution... abolish the caste first before talking of abolishing reservation... jus say a good comment sometimes before in rediff.. can a forward caste guy ignore his surname .. if he wishes then lets decide on removing reservation..
