This shows that we should not rely on others and be self sufficient. If not nuclear we should build Coal based reactors look more options in Solar power, hydro power etc.
Dr.APJ Abdul Kalam said long time back, not to wait for anyone's help and build Thorium based reactors. We(India) neglected those words... At least now, build some thing on our own...

Do you know what goes into making of a new reactor? You should know that first and then the technology required to extract good, clean energy out of the reactor. While the easiest thing to do right now is to purchase fuel and reactors manufactured by GE or other big companies and install it and resolve the current severe energy crunch we're facing right now

Australia has no problem selling uranium to China, a known proliferator but a signatory to NPT but, they have huge problem selling it to India. Great, they have a right to do so. India, should treat Australia likewise and not prefer them for anything. Either you are with us or against us. India should find alternative supplies and not worry about Australia. Screw them when you get a chance.
B--as-t--ar-d australian dont realise threat from China and Pakistan . We stop making Weapon we can be captured easily by them ........... So their father will come from heaven or hell to save us ......... It will be fear of Nuclear attack they will think of their people .
If india thinks they need neuclear resource for their existence they should not be afraid of going offencive against any country in the world. Austrailians captured and looted that land for years, how they became the owners of those resources? It is time for india to capture those resources.Peaceful negotiations are always welcome and should always be the first choice but we should not be afraid of fighting for it. No one makes you super power unless you show so.
