I think he mentioned cow in the context of Lord Hanuman. Both cow and monkey are considered as gods in Hinduism. I am not sure whether camel is also considered as god in Hinduism.

Mr.Md Rahman, cow is not considered as a god in hinduism. Put serach words "animal worship" in any internet search engine and read the result to understand how the system of worship originated.

Md Rahman - This simply shows how you are trained in your madarassa about other religions.
Cow / Snake / Crow / Monkey / Peacock and even Pig - a sacred animal in our religion. Not a "GOD".
Try to learn something truthful before you comment on others faith.
If you want, i have a list of sources available to comment on the lines of Kuran - preaching hatred. I dont want to do so. If I do - there wont be any difference between a madarassa educated and me.

RE:RE:wow ...now monkey is going to be a chairman for indian technical colleges
by Palani on Jun 08, 2008 07:02 PM  Permalink
on december 06 2007 (Babri masjid demolition day)the district subjudge of Dhanbad has issued a court summon to Lord Ram and Lord Hanuman to appear before the court on or before feb 17, 2008. But lord hanuman and lord ram did not honor the court order. Now he lord hanuman has assumed the chairman post of a college.
Now what the court can do?
Not only this there are many loans from different banks have been given to lord ram, lord hanuman, lord krishna etc. etc. No repayment of the loans.
What is the real necessity of money for them?
no ne knows.
now donations can generously given to the institution.

Both are worse but one section ridiculing the others is not acceptable. At least the Indian gods are not as jealous as the West Asian gods and have no problem if some other god/gods are also worshipped!

Palani , Do you feel the same distaste for a shrine in Kashmir dedicated to strand of hair of Prophet Mahumed ?
Maybe not since it is easier to be critical and contemptous of other peoples practices!

Flamigo , what do you mean 'now a days' ever since the beginning of mankind religion meant money! Whether it was Tirupati , Shridi , Mecca or the Vatican money was the driving force . But a warped mind that sees the problem as merely related only to someoneelse's faith doesnot deserve a cool response !

Imman , since rediff has denied me the facilty to reply to you directly let me use this route : -
Specifically note that I have not use the word "money making" and have referred to Money being a driving force at all key religious centers .
Read this from the Wikipedia to understand how even Mecca has an economy that revolves around the Hajj !
" The Meccan economy has been heavily dependent on the annual pilgrimage. As one scholar put it, "[Meccans] have no means of earning a living but by serving the hajjis." Economy generated from hajj, in fact, not only powers the Meccan economy but has historically had far reaching effects on the economy of the Hejaz and Najd regions. The income was generated in a number of ways. One method was taxing the pilgrims. Taxes especially increased during the Great Depression, and many of these taxes existed as late as 1972. With rise of oil income, however, all unnecessary charges have been abolished.
Another way the Hajj generates income is through services to pilgrims.
The city takes in more than $100 million during the Hajj. The Saudi government spends about $50 million on services for the Hajj."

Mr. Imran, Islam is more of a political ideology than a religion. Islam is Arab imperialism. Muhammed enjoined upon all muslims to visit Kaaba atleast once in their life time to ensure a perpetual source of income for his tribe.

Are you an Arab? Why are you worshipping the Arab god? How are you different ethnically from other natives of Indain sub-continent?

Do you know that the Arabs do not treat the Indian and Pak muslims as equal to them? The Arabs detest the Indian muslims more than those belonging to other religions.

A person who worked in a West Asian country recently told me that the Arabs consider the Indian muslims as frauds. Also Oman was the only Arabian Country which had a colony and as such there are a very number of "black" muslims over there but they are not treated as equals by the white-skinned arabs. So much for your Ummah!
