Good luck to the Kasmiri children...
by Virgo on Jun 09, 2008 01:19 PM  Permalink

It is a very good thing that this Kerala outfit is doing for the Kashmiri children. I would also hope that the government will provide assistance to these students when they are ready to go to college after their highschool studies. My best wishes to all the Kashmiri students.

However, I would hope that Markaz does not have any elements of the many virulent deobandi madressas that teach intolerance and hatred. It is also somewhat worrying that Markaz is getting the money from Gulf courntries. That is not at all a good thing as the aim of these gulf countries is to indoctrinate and brainwash kids with virulent wahabi Islam as they are doing in Pakistan. I hope that the children are taught braod modern education in sciene, math, language and arts enabling them to succeed in professional careers.

Best wishes to the Kashmiri children. These children must be protected from falling prey to terrorist outfits such as SIMI.

A team of Intelligence officials has found that the Student Islamic Movement of India (SIMI) has chalked out plans to have terror explosions in Kochi and Kozhikode along with some select Indian cities.
Officials from various Intelligence agencies agree that top leadership of the SIMI has several Keralaites.
The Intelligence gathering wing has also found out that some leaders from Kerala were in the team of SIMI leaders who had met epresentatives of the Afghan warlord Mullah Omer.
Sources said the meeting was held at Belgaum, Karnataka & decided to have further studies on the geography and the population density of Kozhikode and Kochi. It is also learnt that the organization was asked to give a detailed game plan on operation by the Afghan reps. The recent meeting of the top brass of the Indian Intelligence agencies in the State draws significance in this context.
It may be recalled that two highly qualified computer engineers, Shibil and Kuttiamu were arrested in Bhopal and Bangalore respectively after tip-offs to the police. Both these engineers were found to be hardcore activists of the SIMI and Intelligence agencies point out that all the banned organsiations are utilizing highly skilled youngsters who are doing their studies in good colleges after passing the entrance examinations with flying colours.

The Malappuram and Kozhikode district police officials have also been alerted on the possibility of a SIMI-orchestrated attack in Kochi and Kozhikode. The presence o

The Malappuram and Kozhikode district police officials have also been alerted on the possibility of a SIMI-orchestrated attack in Kochi and Kozhikode. The presence of pipe bombs in Kallayi River is proof of the involvement of some top political leaders with this organization.

According to Intelligence sources, SIMI is presently trying to increase its base in all parts of the State and to get a clear picture on the possibility of the spread of the activities in the State.
The weakness of the Muslim politics, which was hitherto confined to the Muslim League and with the sudden emergence of Abdul Nasser Madani, is not in a position to assert itself in the State now. Madani, after his long innings in prisons, has transformed himself into a more spiritually oriented person and this has taken the aggressive Muslim politics in the State a backseat.
SIMI is trying to capitalize on this lacuna and is using all possible methods to select fresh cadre into the organisation.
The firebrand politics practiced by SIMI and the Spartan life style of its leaders when compared to the leaders of the Muslim League have also resulted in a solidification of its credibility among Muslim Youth. The State police are also tracking the activities of SIMI.

Kashmir did not become hell in a single day, or done by Pakistan
by Tathagata Mukherjee on Jun 08, 2008 05:45 PM  Permalink

Kashmir was systemetically indoctrinated by Deobandi Islam, a fanatical version alien to Indian Syncreatic Islam over decades.

Its said, after failure of 1965 Pakistani attack, these groups from mainland India spread their tentacles, slowly planted Imams in Rural areas, captured madrasas this indoctrinated Kashmiri Muslims who believed in Sufism.

We started seeing its effects from late 1980s in the form of Islamism, terrorism.

FACT OF THE MATTER IS, THIS MARKAZ AND DEOBANDI ISLAM FOLLOW SAME IDEOLOGY.

that ended up with bloody Islamic terrorism after two decades.

Most leader of Mosque in Kashmir are now Deobandis from Uttar Pradesh, Bihar.

Markaz is another organization pursing alien, fundamentalist Islam in India.

Future of Sufis, symreatic Islam thus got another body blow because of this.

Anyway, its really what you sow is what you get. This hardliner Islamic identity can only fuel hardline Hindu identity and keep pot boiling for decades to come.
