One doesn't have to be a Congressi to answer your questions. you can ponder over the following too- In Muslim majority country, there is no need for special rights. In India and in Britain communities have rights to their personal laws you are right regarding population statistics. Porkistan and Bangladesh have a poorer record for religious minorities Regarding uniform civil code, Indians apart from cow belt and brahmins are strongly against this. If you are an Indian understand that India has many ways of life and Hindu values say religion is personal and hence the way of life can be different. Also remember that just like many thousand silent Hindus who do not vote for parties who only speak Hinduvta many Indian muslims contribute to India and do not vote for PDP. You cannot and should not put all eggs in one basket. As far as trustee of Madrasa is concerned, you dont need to be a trustee to control them. Look at the education model in WB and see how govt controls them appropriately as far as education is concerned. And since people of all religions attend the madrassas there is relatively much lesser hatred between communities as in the cow belt. Do not try to make a Hindu Rashtra based on the way semitic religions propose their nations. Ours is a much better model

How many muslims are writing in hindu names in rediffmail? Now you know writing in muslim names is not helpful. So change your name in rediffmail and start preaching over here. Nobody can change your nature.
I live in India, I am a Muslim, I live around thousand of Hindus. And they live around hundreds of muslims.
I would like to ask few questions to the people who are targeting the entire muslim religion and community for acts of a handful few. My questions are as below.
How many Muslims have you seen who create problems. In your surrounding are there muslims living?. How many of them you see talking hatred, violence etc or acting rude against you or even looking at you with bad eyes?. Do you see any at all?. I am sure you do not. Kindly do not judge a religion or a community based on the media news or by a act of a handful. Live with them, understand them and then comment.
Understand the wider propganda created by the POWERFUL of the world. And see how they are using innocents to create an atmosphere. See and figure it out yourself what is happening to the States and People who oppose them.

Dear Avinash,
Every religion preach, they preach to spread their religion. Preaching is not imposing it on the public. It is only conveying the message. If muslims preach and promote their religion so does Christians and Hindus. But no one can impose a religion on to anyone.

I was tempted to reply to your comments. Supporting your views on the wrong method often being used for the spread of Islam, I would like to contradict you on your view about Hinduism. You can also be aptly tagged as an ignorant person by commenting that no person can be converted to Hinduism.
Firstly becoz, Hinduism is not the conventional religion as most people understand it, it is a philosophy about the worldly acts and a way of leading a meaningful life. Secondly, our scriptures ie Vedas or Purans do not mention about the inacceptance of any person into our fraternity, there making hinduism so tolerant.
Hence, you cannot be converted to become a Hindu, you become a hindu when you believe in certain principles of life. You may name yourself as Michael or Moiz, still you can be a hindu.
I would humbly request you to please do a little research and self study before writing such generalised comments on your own religion which may lead to the tarnishing of it image.
The plight of our religion is also that, most of us hindus hardly study the religion. We believe in priests but do not read the scriptures.

my dear friend first of all i just wanna tell you is that i am a hindu but i have respect for islam also because our parents has taught us to respect all the religion this is what hindu ideology says,
now i have some question in my mind for you is that.
this question is not only for you but i want all the muslim frinds as well as hindus christion & sikh brothers also to comment on that.
Q.1 why we never see any muslim to comment on terrorism? spl opposing( i am talking about the local muslim not the public figure bcos they have to oppose. i am talking about the muslims who stays in there oun areas.
Q.2 why we see pakistani flags in muslim areas?
Q.3why we have never heard of issuing of any fatwas against any muslim terrorist outfits by any muslim authorities?
Q.4 why all the countries are against muslims for creating problems why they are not against any hindu nations , christian or parsis? do you know my dear why parsis are in india because they have received loved from the people and they have loved and respect for the country in which they live .
Q.5 why muslims always wanna stay in there oun specific conjusted areas not in the opne areas like hindus do or christion or sikh or parsis. we ahev seen lots of hindus staying in muslim areas but not any muslim staying in hindu areaas which are very good in terms of infrastructure.
Q6. why we have not seen any muslim getting worried about terrorist attacks in there conjusted areas because they know hindus

Yes I have answere dude. The same day when i was part of a social club which donates books and bags to poor govt schoool including muslim schools. When I came back to home I saw Muslim mob damaging my 2-wheeler and other hindu vehicles for petty reason. They were angry for a Muslim girl ran away with Muslim Boy.

It is really awful to note that India is still allowing these terrorist outfits to operate in our country freely. There has been breech in the entire security system of this country. Security system has to be beefed up. All our country men should join hands together to fight out this terrorism menace which is spreading like wild fire. If this is not stopped, then this would lead to serious economic debacle of this country. In southern part of India, the muslim terrorist outfits are mainly located in kerala. This is the truth. They operate from kerala according to hightly secret intellengence report. They are on vigit by our security forces. I request all the true citizens of India to fight out terrorism by joining hands togother.

What do you want to say? The concept of Islamic rule is central to the Islamic faith. Every Muslim has to keep fighting, till Rule of Islam becomes the world order. After that Muslims have to fight to make other Muslims better Muslims. There is nothing new in this. Muslims have been ordained by Quran to carry out this fight, and the aayats you have referred to come in handy for convincing new recruits.
SIMI (Now SIM-It has removed India from its name and is now a truly Global organisation), is a Students' organisation just like ABVP. The only difference is; that it does not kill its teachers. It wishes to end Hindu-Muslim tensions in the country by making India a Dar-ul-Islam, i.e. an Islamic country, where Hindus would pay Jazia in lieu of getting permission to exist, and would be treated like Zimmies, and would not dare raise their voice against the treatment. Its ideas are very secular and noble, and in line with the plans of our great leaders like Manmohan Singh, Sonia Gandhi and Atal Bihari Vajpai. Why should we ban such innocent and high thinking people?

afghanistan became a fundamentalist muslim country, but a few centuries ago, it was a peaceful buddhist country
what happened there was the same as what is happening in india today
today, the buddhists there are reduced to a minority of less than 0.1%.
their temples have been destroyed. the latest was the destruction of the bamiyan buddhas.
many were killed. others persecuted. some managed to flee. so obviously the majority left today are not buddhists.
the lesson stares at us from afghanistan. if we find it difficult to believe that, kashmir in the recent past has seen exactly the same pattern. and now, other parts of the country - jaipur, delhi, bangalore, gandhidham, mumbai, hyderabad have all seen such terror attacks.
the moderate muslims hold the key to the solution - by getting out the hardliners. but for that they first have to realise that india is a better place to be than afghanistan, and its better in a multi-cultural society like india than a 100% islamic society.
if they still dont believe it, they should visit afghanistan with their wives, sisters and children to decide which life is better.
they should see movies about afghanistan, taliban, and read salman rushdie's satanic verses or taslima nasreen's lajja (both are muslim writers)

Pl read "A Thousand Splendid Suns" by Khaled Hosseini (an Afghan Muslim) to understand the real condition in Afghanistan. The muslims living in a secular democratic country like India are really not aware what their Islamic Utopia really means. There is no democracy in majority of Muslim countries. Everything depends on the whims and fancy of the ruling family. If any one talks against the ruler, they can be put behind bars or even summarily executed.
