raise the prices higher!
by Bharat Kumar on Jun 05, 2008 01:02 PM  Permalink

The UPA should have increased the price of petroleum product based on the market price of crude and production cost... increase of around Rs25/lit for petrol and Rs30/lit for diesel... Either way the Indian Citizen has to pay for higher international crude price... If we pay directly, we can see the cost to our nation. However, now we are paying indirectly and without transperency and God only knows, what will be the economic cost to our nation... Anyway the UPA can not hope to comeback in the next general elections. At leat this was the least they could have done for the good of the nation....

Bose while I agree with you on trade with China, you should stop your rants against Marwaris, Mahindra, Reliance, Narayana Murty and so on. They are business people and are free to conduct business in the free market.

However I do agree with you that we shouldn't do business with the Chinese. But the way to accomplish this is a ban by the government similar to the ban we have had against the pakis. Why don't you start that by asking your commie buddies in West Bengal to ban business with China first? Then I will call you a credible person.

West Bengal is a state within India, so it cannot ban trade with China, only India can, but India will not, as that would damage the profit of the Marwaris and Narayan Murthy, Mahindra& Mahindra, Reliance and many others. Thus, profit is much more important for the Indian leaders than Indian land, which they are prepared to give up to China for more profit.

you can make profit and still fight to protect your land. making profit benefits everybody - narayana murthi makes money, he pays taxes - so the govt and the people make money etc. and no sense banning chinese goods if you do not have a viable/economic alternative for them. the usa is the biggest trading partner of china, but still they fight each other viciously without their trade being affected. all india needs to do is protect her interests. and i don't buy your arguments about communism - bunch of crock. most indian communists do not wish india well.

Commies are not anti-Indian or pro-Chinese at all. Marx was the first person in the world to support 1857 revolt. Lenin accepted M.N.Roy as his right-hand man.
Pro-Chinese are those those are prepared to sell India to the Chinese: Marwaris, Narayan Murthy, Mahindra&Mahindra, Reliance etc etc, as they sold India to the British.
Who has supplied rotten products to the Indian army in 1962 and made a fortune out of it: Marwaris not the Bengalis.
Who has supported East India Company in 1857: Rajputs, Sikhs, Gurkha, Gwalior.
Who have sent their daughters and sisters to the harem of the Mughals: Rajputs.
Bengalis always fought against foreign invasions, but others made money out of it.
Who used to polisg the boots of the British: South Indians.
Most of the revolutonaries in the Andaman Jail were Bengalis.

Why try to "reject" chinese claims? By doing so, India appears to give importance to the chinese rants. I think the best response when the press questions our leaders should be a big laugh from them! We shouldn't give credence to the Chine rants with a response. If one is needed, then a picture of the middle finger would be the most appropriate.

China is our greatest enemy...I simply cannot figure out why Indian establishments r busy trying to appease these son of bitc...China covertly helped Pakistan to acquire nuclear nd missile technology ..They have been infiltrating every now nd then into Indian side....India is too afraid to take on these red dragons after 1962 drubbings...Congress govt doesnt have a policy to deal nd teach a lesson to these commies...India should exploit Tibet issue to embrass China and to divert world community opinion towards Tibet...Only way to deal with them is to be boycott all the goods dumped by chinese companies....India should also start claiming Aski Chin nd Tibet then only these Chinese would stop thier stupid claims

diplomacy is ok but don't ditch india's trust and pride!
by baiju velayudhan on Jun 05, 2008 11:24 AM  Permalink  | Hide replies

though India always believed in "LIVE & LET LIVE", it should give strong message to the countries in the world that being diplomat does not mean cowardness.
since india respect other countries and do not believe in invading others teritories, the same they expect from others as well.
if not, india must strongly dare to say "NO" and things after that gets worse, every indian will fight shoulder to shoulder irrespective of caste or religion to maintain peace and freedom.
we must, from now atleast should not give any part of the country for political or terrorist cause, rather take pride in death for a CAUSE if it goes to bloodshed for others to follow.

Boycott olympics
by Vijay urf Teesmar Singh on Jun 05, 2008 11:22 AM  Permalink  | Hide replies

We must immediately declare boycott of china olympics as china is acting like an enemy which it really is. It has stopped Kailash Mansarovar pilgrimage and now claiming on parts of Sikkim. we must not hold any talks with it. Simply tell them to go to hell and cut all relationships with it. Only then it will come on right track.
