we are giving 2nd priority service to drdo scientist. but what we are looking for most bright candidate from india.

DRDO scientist are called officers. But they are supposed to adjust in single bedroom set. even in some cases two or more in single room.

DRDO scientist are the hero behind curtain, and we neglect there contribution.

65% of DRDO scientist are reserved.
a big percentage got promotion through departmental compitition.

A few retain because of couple cases, or nearness to home.

if we consider all then only few real scientist work for DRDO.
then i think our result is very good.

Why should DRDO monopolise all the defense technology? Why dont we have multiple institutes focusing some core technologies. Say we have institute or company A focusing on missile tech...another just one part of aviation.
Each becomes an expert in their area. Even better if we have competing institutes for a given defence contract. Instead of one monolothic DRDO which is jack of all master of none!
Why should DRDO waste its time in researching how to pack fruit juices and chappatis? Cant they off load this to a private packaging company? Does it think private firms are dumb?
The reason why US is so successful is that they have private participation and competetion right at the prototype development phase...Which ever company meets the specifications and comes up with a prototype wins the contract....unlike in India where DRDO sits on LCA for decades...until LCA becomes obsolete...and we continue to beg Russia and US, Europe for fighter crafts.

But i agree on something, we need to get away from resevration in our country cause mainly it is mis-utilized moreover i feel reservation should be there only at lower levels of job so that the person of that particular community gets basic education or job ( say clerk ) post that there should be high standrds of apptitutde test to find out if he can progress or not this way if he is eligiable he gets to progress and make a career else he makes his livelyhood.

What do you ppl say about this.
