And this person Bainsla was a colonel in the Army? who selected this most indisciplined, arrogant, egoistic individual for the army? You can tolerate indifference to some extent, but not this far! The Army should have intervened the moment these fools started damaging public property and disrupted traffic and communication and arrested the stir then and there!

its not about becoming tribe maam!! you are underplaying the advantage given by reservation if you become ST ( than general).. mind u , its hell a lot of difference !!
I sometimes wonder , by taking so much trouble gujjar community is gonna get benefitted. By looking at timing of protest (just after congress lost to BJP). Such a big agitation for so long can not take place here with govt support. If govenment has will , how much time will it takes to disperse few thousands of potestor. This whole drama of agitationa and getting so much of media coverage , is just an eye wash. Did u ever find any media covering the problem like why govt taking so much time in bailing us out of fuel crisis. Now even media is big tamashaa , they show us the picture which there sponsorers wants us to see. Definition of politics Old people talking Young people fighting and dying
it will be real unfortunate, if gujjars get ST status. gujjars are by and large financially stable society of north india. If they will become ST, no one else of ST community will ever be able to crack any exam( even after ST status). ST gujjars will be == all ST seats taken by gujjars !!!

Those who are damaging the public property and those inciting them should be charged with treason and rashtradroha and dealt very strongly. unless they are handled with iron hand this is going to spread to whole country and India will now be divided on caste lines.
They are showing the way to other communities that their demonstration will not end till demands are accepted.No compromise/talks/repercusssions-only acceptance. Style of C2 Union demonstrations in 1980s. when they have ruined the majority of PSUs. Good way of democratic approach with criminality.
BJP's politics of dividing has been quite unfortunate for the nation. The number of blasts and social unrest that happened after the infamous rath yatra is the limitus test. If the nation do not stand up and take notice . We can go the Pak way into turmoil as a nation . We can but boast on who the most powerful cast is or most powerful relegion is and enjoy and kill our childrens to prove the same

Rath yatra was a movement to unite Hindus cutting across caste lines operating under cultural nationalism. Muslim fundamentalists with their separatist agenda engineered and instigated riots when they felt their delusion of pan-islamic body threatened.

i think we are divided due to congress and not by bjp, at least they are risisting it, and they had promised it for election and so all party does. also bjp opposes reservation based on religion which congress and other regional party promote, doesn't this cause division in our society

Not a BJP fan but what does this have to do with the party. This is a nationwide problem due to the short-sightedness of all political parties.....maybe BJP divides but does so mostly on religion and all others divide on caste. This issue has been going on for long and to BJP's misfortune they are at the wrong place at the wrong time. Divide any which way and the result is dis-integration of the country.
