China will increase its wind energy capacity from 5000 MW to 100, 000 MW by 2010. In two years growth of 2000%. That is vision. Wind is clean it is free and it is unlimited. Here our PM has no clue which energy is suitable for India is tied down to nuclear deal which not only does not solve the energy problem, but also ties India's hands in research and defence. How shortsighted can one be? Also, US has no uranium. USA is signing deal with Russia to get uranium! Manmohan Singh was offered four nuclear plants by Russia on his recent visit. That too without strings. And our doctor PM refused...what an as@

It is sad to see BJP questioning the Nuclear deal along with the Communist. BJP is the one started the deal. Why cant they join the democratic force and defeat the common enemy Communist. Who is gaining by this political stunt? CHINA and PAKISTAN. Communist and BJP helping these two rouge nations.

I dont think BJP ever said that they are against deal, they always said with the existing conditions they will not accept. There is difference when you talk of against some clause vis a vis when you talk of comprehensive differences.

sry but let me quote advani's dialoge he said that they will accept the same deal if they are in govt but if they are opposition they will oppose all the deals which might benifit cong in election India doen not matter
Why We Need This Expensive Nuclear Energy from USA When Tamil Nadu Is Generating Four Thousands Megawatt of Power From Wind Energy it is several Time more than Nuclear Energy of our whole country So Why We Are not taking Steps in Investmentsin this Sector of Wind Energy it Is Ten Times Cheaper Than Nuclear Energy. It Is Clean And Envirement freindly Our Costal Area (Sea shores )Are Ideal Place for this We Can Genarate Upto 2 Lackh Megawatt Power from this At Cheaper Price....

nuclear energy is the only way by which we can make India to progress like wind energy in tamil nadu and solar in himachal and enery from waste delhi will help but cannot meet the demands

what horse manure! Nuclear energy is the least attractive of all other choices. Even out gobar gas is a better alternative.
Any govt whether BJP or Congress will take a decision which favours India. So, all the parties except left are saying that they're not against the nuclear deal but there needs to be some changes in the agreement of the same whereas left doesn't want any sort of deals with the US as it'll hurt its illegitimate fathers in China. So Mr. Singh is right in asking to get the final result on the 123 agreement.By just avoiding the issue congress is not helping the cause. Also, inspite of a strong regional presence of India there is a lot happening(negative) in our neighbouring countries which in an otherwise scenario would've been avoided if the govt had the decision making ability. This toothless attitude of the congress govt is projecting India as a weak nation which is not the reality. Silence over here doesn't mean strength but cowardness. MMS is a meek chap and it clealy looks obvious that he is just a mouth piece of Sonia. There is no co-ordinationa as far as the govt functioning is concerned.Arjun Singh solely runs his quota propaganda, health minister does his, defence minister faints during a prestigious ceremony(shows how weak t govt is and also not able to procure military hardware like the most needed fighting jets, nuke subs et al), chidambaram dilutes all the questions put across to him by showing a hyper optimistic attitude(which exudes over-confidence).Sonia going on sackin people who defy her, rahul runnin around in tribal regions with no aim. CRAZY

China has certainly proved itself a great production platform but not, so far, a platform for invention and creativity. China does not create technology, and that's a large part of what defines a superpower.

you want to say the same will happen as vajpayee's govt
I remember Dr. MMS pleading to all political parties to rise above petty politics and think of the nation on important matters. Now, why he is constrained by petty politics of just saving his non functional Govt ? Why can't he just go and sign the deal and show some courage of conviction for the benefit of the nation ? Disgusting. Very poor performance to say the least.

hello India cannot sign the deal till 2/3rd of parliament goes in favour

Today also he pleaded (begged) with his allays to allow him to increase some price rise in petrol and diesel. Very poor PM I ever seen.
The UPA stand is very clear from the day one, they will go with the Nuclear deal if it is beneficial for the country & they won't go with the deal if it is not beneficial for the country. This is nothing but BJP's attempt to manufacture a controversy, in order to gain advantage in the upcoming elections.

It is BJP which is not showing a clear stand. On one day it favours this agreement but next day it shows some reservations against it. Mr. MMS is trying hard to persuade all parties in favour of the agreement. But now BJP is asking him to clear his stand, Ridiculous. Ulta Chor Kotwal to Dante.

Bihar Tiger: It is the duty of the Govt. who has majority to rule the country to bring any legislation/law etc. If the Govt. has majority, the opposition will fall in line with Govt. It is UPA that they cannot flock together.

well this not a law it has to be approved by 2/3rd majority not simple so either BJP and congress has to join or but BJP all parties have to join or but cong all parties have to join and vote in favour

UPA is shaky in all issues. They are not sure of themselves. For example, they were talking price increase in Petrol & Diesel for the last 10 days, but nothing happened. In our olden days, we used to know about the increase in fuel only after govt increase it. It is very poor Govt. who cannot take a simple step.

Will USA government sign a deal with a Indian Government which has only 130 MP in the parliament of which total strength is 547? I am neither pro congress nor anti BJP, but some of the comments made here shows complete ignorance of the facts
