Looks like Congress, MMS and Co want to take the nation and people to virtual heaven and real hell. Those who still think MMS is sincere and honest, I urge them to wake up before it is too late. In any deal, there is usually a trade off and we have to choose what is best for us. However, MMS wanted people to believe that we are getting everything from the deal and not paying anything for it.

even after recession US is 13.8 trillion dollar economy, India is just 1.17 despite having 3 times more population. Know something before you type something. India needs to develop first then think of comparing itself with US. Even if US GDP shrinks by 2-3 percent it will not matter still US will remain a superpower. Learn from China see China is keeping quiet till it develops it knows that time is not yet correct for it to compare itself with US. That is why it has put on backburner issues like Taiwan, Arunachal Pradesh.
My foot.. 13.8 trillion dollar economy... just in figures..
one fart in share market..Nasdaq,Dow Jones.. entire economy goes for toss. recent Oil prices..have turned ladies in US sell their bodies to pay for gas...
economy with liquidating products like insurance, retail banking etc.
Indians are positioned better.
dON'T ONLY get believe on fiqures.. these are many a times..gimmick...and particularly in US
This deal will barely supply 3% of India's power needs by year 2025. First control the bombs going off in India, Dr Manmohan Singh and stop distracting people with your silly nuclear deal.

Excellent suggestion. Do something about terrorism, skyrocketing prices etc. instead of making your master happy, simply because your daughter is settled in your master's country.
The deal is good i belive..atleast we can get nuclear fuel for the time being till we need to do test and let the deal terminate after that...chalta hai...

You are not playing music chair here dear. Once deal get terminated all the invested money will be lost and that financial burden will be too much. Moreover we need to give back technology to USA (if transferred any). We wont be able to get rid of IAEA inspections even after the termination of the deal.

dont make idiotic statements if you dont know the complex nature of signing deals with dangerous countries like US. They trap you by including other countries and IAEA and you will never be able to comeout. If you want to do so, you will be blacklisted for ever. India will become another Iran or North korea infront of others. IAEA, WTO, UN... all such bodies are puppets of US. .

Powerful are always dangerous for weak. And therefore citizens of weak countries should not be befooled by their political leaders like MMS did.

you are a fool, US is a very dangerous country to those who cross it. Even mighty Russia and China are wary of it. Unlike other powerful countries, the US doesnt pause before going to war that can cause misery and destruction on a massive scale as long as its cowboy image is intact.

US is not here to attach each and every country...yes there are other countries..which needs to be dealt wid...like Iran, Iraq, North Korea,Afgan..These countries overall are a threat to humanity,,..if we cant deal wid it..we better be back benchers and let US deal wid it,,
Dear respected pro nuclear deal campaigners posting their messages here, please have your commonsence to identify your real enemy. China and Pak are not your enemy. Apparently it look so with whatever misunderstanding between countries. Such fight happen within the country too - between states, communities etc. UNCLE SAM IS YOUR REAL ENEMY. And he is trying to trap you with the deal for his long term benefit. Nobody including left is against nuclear energy. And those who dont know anything about India post their pro US messages on this board. Weather left is right or wrong.. their strong objection brought this subject to many discussion forums so that many could debate on it. Now you see the ripe mango's sour taste while reaching the nut

i prefer to be trapped by uncle sam...and if im working for the long term benefit of US..ill be more happier.. and thats what all software firms and BPO's have been doing,,,,atleast giving some shape to the Indian Economy and leading a decent life,,,
Like India United States also needs to explain its position to its members. How somebody can expect other side to bow down. When somebody wants to renegotiate, it is most likely to go against the party, who wants to renegotiate. Though US says now that it will stop the supplies if India conducts a test. It will have think twice before actually doing it when India will be significant force in the market. The IAEA agreement will pave the way for commerce with France and Russia who are more willing but are restrained in absence of any international clearance. Once India begins commerce with France and Russia, US will be forced to be soft.
Those who support the N-Deal could explain simply that whether the Deal is one-sided? Is there any provision for India to Terminate the Deal if US goes for another 'Fake Encounter' like that in Iraq. (mind well I am mentioning only the nationalist saddam and not the disputed one).
RE:US can Terminate N-Deal...

India has right to come out of deal as and when it wants so does USA. Nuke tests or iraq or any other event may cause deal to cease. But coming out of deal is not easy. Both sides have to sit and explain reasons.... US can terminate deal even for no nuke test too so does india...
Double standard speeches by Mr.Burns...Anyways ones we are through with the deal and USA stops the nuclear fuel; India can buy fuel from other countries...And no one can or will ever sell India and Indian soul...Please stop writing such stupid comments...BJP also negotiated the deal with USA...for BJP the graves are sour because it was their baby but cong kept the name...
RE:USA
by Avinash on Jul 31, 2008 12:35 PM Permalink
My dear friend. First understand then write. Did BJP wrote anytime they are against the deal, they only want to renegotiate the deal of the clause under discussion above. The grave fears of theirs are true.
It is real that you are stupid to give logic which shows your biased mind.
I pity you... The same USA who is advising intnl. cartels and others to sell U235 to India can persuade them to impose a sanction on us. They have already did it to us.
But the world and economies have changed. Congis found that USA can sell their U235 from old dismantled n.bombs. Though USA is not creating new n.projects in their country, they can sell of waste to us and keeps us on tender hooks on with whom we can have trade relations - great idea...
Congis know in worst case if something happens, people in this country already have resilience to bear any number of sanctions.
USA will be in trouble if they impose trade sanction again...
