This is ridiculous, tomarrow, they say, handover your nuclear weapons to us otherwise we will cancel nuclear deal. No way, india is not born rich with golden spoon, we can survive with traditional energy sources. And this nuclear deal is only fulfill 16% of our needs. Nagarjuna sagar dam can produce more energy than now, but to feed private plants, our AP govt is only using it 1hr/day and destroyed most of its infrastructure. How long we will destroy our country just to make these rich people happy. Whats happening in india. Who will come and change these politicians?.

we need mithuns and rajnikanths and dharmendras and sunny deols..lots of them..
I remember some tricks to make children do things. The child is not eating rice. Mother makes some doll shape from the rice and make the child happy and also make him eat it too. Now India is against NPT. Us make some changes in plan and give it a name Indo-Us nuclear deal. India is very happy to sign it.
Every body knows, there is something bad in the deal. Can any one having a little brain in this world refuse that, US will do things without getting benefits from it. Those who favor nuclear deal must be thinking at some point why US suddenly become so kind to India when the whole world is against Nuclear activity.
Why no other country is against this deal? Are they stupid... They know it will make India Nuclear Handicap.
Everybody knew USA would cancel any Nuclear deal if India does further test.
There would be sanctions with or without 123 agreement.
- It's to be seen if India is willing to do another test or not. Vajpayee told the whole world that India would not do further tests.
Still, the right to test lies with India.
If we are willing to go survive the sanction, then nobody can stop us from going for further test.
[ The fact is even if we go for test and there are sanctions, the world would come around after few years to do business with us, because we are destined to grow economically.
If USA can do business with communist china, USA can do business with economic powerhouse democratic India.]
This is known to the Indian Govt. as well as the opposition.
But Advani needs something to oppose, else he would be irrelevant.

In hindsight even a Mule is a genius ! The Congress party has been repeatedly saying that the Hyde Act has nothing to do with the N-Deal. But Burns had made it clear that the 123 must be "consistent with the provisions of the Hyde Act" What the Congress must admit is that the whole N-deal is built a around a web of lies and that makes it suspect . It is stupid to suggest that Vajpayee announced a voluntary ban on testing hence there is no problem for 123 stopping us from testing ? The crucial word is "voluntry". One can understand Lalu Prasad Yavad saying something like this , after all the 123 is not written in Bhojpuri script , but for Pranab Mukerjee and Kapil Sibal to suggest that Hyde Act has no bearing is deception at its best if not outright lying in the parliament!

- It's just not the Left or BJP, there are other parties even in USA who are opposing to the deal.
From the above article, it is obvious that even some members of NSG too are opposing, but would not go publicly against India or USA.
There are voices in USA that India is getting away with too many goodies.
So the US negotiators too need to answer to the domestic constituency that they have enough hold on the deal.
An agreement can not "appear" lop-sided.
There are enough ambiguities in the agreement ( kept deliberately by Indian negotiators) for India to escape and continue to do business.
One look at the agreement, and it would make any good "Indian Lawyer" smile.

This is what a typical psycophant will write. Check your facts that Vajpayee told whole world that India will observe voluntary moratorium-and that doesnt mean India wont do further tests. If you dont understand english-ask your english teacher.
This immoral deal has happened because of our corrupt politicians and bureaucrats.Almost all the politicians and the top echelon of babus in govt ( a confidential survey reveals nearly 1200 of them) have their kith and kin settled in US,Canada,Australia or NZ. Of these more than 80% in the US (note including our PM,FM,etc, etc). All these politicans and babus have significant assets stashed away there. They all want to have one leg in India and one in US to enjoy the best of both. This the US Administration knows too well. They use this knowledge to arm twist these weak politicians and babus to formulate and put in place policies and agreements favouring US and against India's soverighnty and national interests. After all these corrupt buggers are more interested in getting permanent residency in US after retirement while retaining their Indian passport. If these spineless reptiles do not work in US's interests now when they are in power, they cannot hope to get easy and welcome entry into US and would be treated as Narendra Modi is being done now -denying visa shamelessly. And to talk of US transferring civil nuke technology to India, is a laughable statement at best and a contemptible lie at the worst.Yankees haven't built anything other than more and more hideous N-bombs in the last 30 years! Yet they keep droning about civil nuke tech transfer to India.
The immorality of the deal is on the part of the Indian traitors headed by MMS,who has turned out truly a blackguard.

You have hit the nail on the head. Terminate all babus and politicians from their posts, who have kith and kin depenedent on or living in the West, if india is to progress.

Good write up Selection of Bureaucrats should be based on the knowledge one has about India and Indians. It need not be limited to a person who qualified from abroad. His perception about India is very important. One might have written many books and received many awards from India and abroad. But it should not be the criterion for selection of a person to any coveted post. India has a system evolved over many millenniums. Any change should be in line with this system. We should not try to ape something from some where. Any one who has a feeling that India is a country which is meant to serve other countries should be avoided. There are some people here who think like that. We need some one who worship 'MOTHER INDIA'. Not in words but in deeds. We need someone like Lokamanya Tilak who cried 'Fredom is my birth right'. We need some one who uphold Indian culture and values. We need some one who speaks for India in every forum. We need someone who never spoke the words 'oh these Indians'!! It is true there are people in the corridors of power in Delhi who use these words very often!! Above all he should not work for the sale of India – piece meal including sovereignty and freedom.
Seems in an urgency to make a lot of money in commissions, govt. is hiding a lot many facts. Tommorrow Pakistan's nuclear program will be much ahead of India and then the intensity of blasts will also increase.

India must slap US straight by immediately canceling this useless deal. It is US which is providing money to Pak to carry on blasts in India. "Kabhi to mard bano yaar, kab tak america ke peeche dum hilate ghoomte rahoge".

I have gone through the deal and it is all bakwas. Around 40 times it has been mentioned that deal will be canceled by US in these many ways. If all US wants is to cancel the deal than why this DEAL. Is it just to make 30 reactors spending India's tax payers' 100 Billion dollars and then make India beg for nuclear fuel again. I doubt if MMS has himself read the deal et. al. or only some chamacha has briefed him.

Pakistan nuclear program is a copy and smuggled from west. They dont have any indigenous program. Their scientist main source of income is by supplying smuggled nuclear information to Iran, Libya etc.

Mr Rao, the fact will remain that 2 masterminds from Karachi entered ur house and blasted so many bombs. Whether they are their country made or any other country made, how does it matter. With this lutcher intelligence, Nuclear deal is gonna be a suicide. 10 reactors blasts will end Indias progress for ever. What could you do in Bhopal Gas Tragedy.
Can anyone in this forum tell me..why the nuclear deal is good for india.. when we all know it will only give us 3% more power..and total output from nuclear power will only be 6%..and we need to spend 50,000 crores.. where do u think this money is going to come from - tax payers...

who is asking for subsidy? why shud it be gvn at all? if a farmer has to pay full amount for fertiliser energy, he shud also be allowed to sell wherever n whoever he wants, why this restriction? why shud tax payer pay this?

dont make fool the forum members like your congressi masters. You are not going to substitute, LPG cylinders, Petrol or diesel even after the deal.
USA has been telling again and again that Hyde act applies to our agreement. But UPA govt of Sonia, MMS, Pranab Mukherjee had been telling various lies including the lie that Hyde act does not apply to our agreement.
It won the trust vote by bribing opposition MPs (except Left).
It is a govt of liers and cheaters. Now another big lier, cheater and Anil Ambani's agent SP, is also part of the govt. Govt is giving EPF money to Anil's company for gambling of hard earned money of employees as a deal with SP.
UPA did all this drama for the deal to divert peoples' attention from real problems like galloping inflation, farmers' suicide etc. Earlier PC used to b nervous on Fridays, when inflation was 8%. Now he, Sonia & MMS r not worried even though it is 12%. I hope what Sushma Swaraj suggested, that UPA may b behind the bombings for diverting peoples' attention, is wrong.
All fellow Indians,Please Think the way deal is handelled.IT is not in India"s future generation. One by One all crap will come out and timing will be when entire India is "Busy" with other issues.Media running for "BREAKING THE NEWS" FOR PETTY ISSUES AND then Ugly ASPECTS shall be announced. Belive atleast Commies are NOT Mis guiding the country UTS MMS and Party is MISINFORMING AND MISGUIDING INDIA. Why now SP AMERSINGH WANTS HYDE ACT REVIEWED OR CHANGED?This was exactly opposition and Left were demending? What is all about? what congress is up to? WAKE UP AND DEMAND EXPLAINATION FROM GOVERNMENT.
