PM/FM /Sonia
by manish rai on Jul 31, 2008 12:00 PM  Permalink  | Hide replies

Now the people of India know the truth. The deal is a sellout to the US and is one sided. No wonder the DALAL Amar Singh travelled before the trust vote to the US to collect funds for distribution to the MP's.I guess all the pepole who supported the deal should hang themselves. For PM /FM & Sonia well they already have got their cuts...

But not like Kerala,s missionaries who are doing business and making lot of money through enterprises like education, hospitals etc.
They are not making any agitation aginst the murder of a nun in a convent. But they are agitating against secular nature of a text book in alliance with BJP.

MMS .. dont bind India from its own development whereas USA & other countries are free to do anything whenever they want giving any vague reasons & excuses.

Opposition was right .. Cong is hiding so many things under its cover.

N-Deal
by Kala Khanjjar on Jul 31, 2008 11:56 AM  Permalink

Herecomes the main point of not conducting the N-test. Many of them who was against this deal tried to explain this and about the Hyde act. Its all that UPA-Congress wants credit in there name in name of N-Deal, but they dont know what will happen after signing the deal. Its not late Mr.Prime minister rethink, gather all the polictical leaders to gather discuss this issue again and take out a good solution which will be in favour of India and not the US.

Though Indians will feel cheated, there is nothing new in this. This is the way Intnl. treaties work. This is a fine eg. of standard Orwellian Double Speak.

MMS infact might have done right thing. You sign one deal with US and take U235 from wherever you want. When you have more than enough U235 test a nuclear bomb or have a stunt with USA.

Then Hyde Act will be in force - but then if India played its cards well, USA will be in deep shit. It can't do much against India after India have taken enough of what it needs.

Believe it not not - what lefties were telling was right - but current world is not working on principles - so this is the only way out.

Will they declare isolation of india?

It is day dream. In another ten years the deal will break India's back-bone. Read on
Dear India
The N-deal, surrendering our sovereignty.
Signed on the black day
All political parties are out with scams, criticisms, border war
Terrorism, accidents, inter-state disputes, religious dispute, blames etc.
More subjects will be born and die to keep the people busy
Like the story of a dog and the bone
Very soon the N-deal will be signed by our “respected PM”.
With his hand tainted while making a scar on Indian democracy
With a sharpened dagger
Putting all hopes on foreigners, not Indians
Forgetting Babha and Nehru and their vision
To get nuclear energy after a decade!
Projecting a glossy picture ahead.

Several discussions are over on project implementation.
The deals are ready to sign including LOANS.
With intriguing clauses with far reaching consequences
Limiting India's interference
All shrouded in the word 'confidential'
To be signed in the dotted lines.
The congress has no say again.
They have already collected the 'share'.
In between, other political parties had the share,
Hope not?
The details could be known via gossip alone?
The whole drama will continue till all papers are signed.
Looser?
The dear nation- its sovereignty and independence.
Gained through sacrifices of many PATRIOTS
Across the country, spanning 100 years.

Start flow of FDI -abundant
The share market gets a sudden boost
Destined to stop when the FDI stops

contd..
Feel of comfort in every field for a while.
And decline in cultural values.
Dilly dallying by special interests
Delay in project, call for revision of project cost
Leaders of the day get the share, both sides
No murmuring!
Device mechanism to link unit price with inflation
If not in the signed deal, technically right.
No murmuring!
Excuses from treasury benches, allegations from opposition.
Everything moves as scheduled by the unknown
Uranium shortage, excuses, blame on world market
Regular revision of unit price
Linked to the dictated price of Uranium
Near end of Uranium supply, idling the plant
Decommissioning of plants,
Keep nuclear waste safe for ten thousand years
Herculean task indeed!!
$3 Billions per year for ten years for every plant
By the present international data and standard.
All finance from foreign loans.
The one politicians love
Defined by the words perestroika and glasnost
Only in words, not in deeds.

In between the Indian financial structure crumble
By awarding BOT projects
Government looses all controls,
Inflation rise to unimaginable levels.
Wish not happen!
Excuses and blames.....
Destruction of cultural values built over eons
God may protect us from radiation and terrorists
.....
The individuals worked for the N-deal live in oblivion.

Intelligentsia, NGOs, Non political organizations, individuals
Think over
The people's call,
Keep India united
SAVE US!!

Indo-US Nuclear Cat and Mouse Deal worse than Treaty of Versailles
by Somik Roy on Jul 31, 2008 11:55 AM  Permalink  | Hide replies

Its very unfortunate that the Government of India is misleading the Indian Public about the Hyde Act. Prior to the vote of confidence, stalwarts on the deal, kept harping that 123 Agreement and the IAEA deal, both being international treaty, under the Geneva Agreement for honoring International Treaty, no domestic law can operate which would jeopardise any foreign treaty between two countries. They had explained and assured the Indian public that since Hyde act is a domestic law of the US, hence it will have no effect on the 123 agreement between India and USA. This is because no mention has been made of the Hyde Act anywhere in the text of either the 123 agreement or the IAEA deal. Therefore, India's sovereignty is not challenged anywhere in anyways. So even if India in some distant future say 25 years from now, conducts a nuclear test, either from provoaction by Pakistan or China or for experimental purposes to improve India's advanced nuclear capability, India canot do so. But USA is now saying is that 123 agreement is totally on the basis of the Hyde Act. If India ever conducts the nuclear test, USA will not only stop supply of uranium and other fissile material or nuclear technology, but also have to return everything that the US had supplied to India all these years. The poor uneducated Indians like Kalavati does not know of these implications. This treaty is worse than the Treaty of Versialles that the allies forced upon Germany after world war I. We are helpless.

Its Shame
by kranti on Jul 31, 2008 11:53 AM  Permalink

Its other thing whether the deal is in interests of nation or not in long term.
But PM said 123 agreement is bounding and Hyde is not, but today one of main US negotiator say , 123 agreement is with in the scope of Hyde..
If some one says india doesnt need any testinf now, then they wrong, this agreement bounds the future also, no u may feel testing is not need ...
Did america stop testing, if it is not completely capping its testing , do we have more advanced data that US has with just 2 tests, that we are capping the testing for now but also for for future.
And if agrement is broken we have to return them all, but will america return what we have given in the process. so things go wrong way, US will get back what it gave, but we will lose will lots of investments, so this will be like big Log tied to our legs.
And for any future advanccements we have to depend on US and pay hefty price for that either monetarily or stratagically.
Why the PM is rushing with this , even lying to public is not understadable .
If not then who is lying PM or Burns ...
