When aluminum ingots and ball bearings were seized by the police in Ramanathapuram and Madurai one leader of Party claimed those things are meant for Bicycle making.Now it is crystal clear that these were meant for LTTE for making bombs.These type of leaders are trying to fool every Indians and particularly Tamilians that LTTE are the saviors of The Srilankan Tamils.For peaceful living of Tamils in Srilanka LTTE should be crushed.More Tamilians were killed by LTTE in Srilanka than the Military.

When LTTE is goen there will be no peaceful living of Tamils in Srilanka.

Mr selvan, I am in Sri lanka for the past 6 weeks for SAARC. Sinhala people do not carry out genocide of tamilians. It is the Govt military forces who fight LTTE and unfortunately tamilian civilians die. Mahinda rajapaksa govt is advocationg a war solution, which is totally unacceptable. But you must understand that he came to power with a razor thin majority of around 120,000 votes for a total vote base of approx.10 million. So almost 50% of sinhala people voted against him and that shows about half of sinhala people do not accept war. It is wrong to say that all sinhala people support or indulge in killing of tamilians.

Mr James, you are spitting venom. Because of some sinhalas like you only the problem is still not solved. Further you need not tell me about having a dosa diet in colombo and I can feel the high cost of food items in colombo because your government is hell bent on war and completely and conveniently ignore the cost of living of your country. Your country's inflation is officially 27% and unofficially over 32%. The highest in south east asia. I am at SAARC meetings and at the same time I have spoken to many a sinhala civilian. Most of them do not like war carried out by the govt. Only people like you support your govt and encouraging them not to solve this problem through peaceful negotiations. Do not talk about tamilians living in colombo. look at those who are suffering in the north and east and central of your country, See how are they harassed for being tamilians by your govt.I agree that LTTE should be defeated but that doesnot mean that your treating all tamilians as LTTE. With your approach you are driving all tamilians towards supporting LTTE.

LTTE terrorists are a danger to the peace loving people in India and Sri Lanka, hence the terrorists must be crushed before any further harm can be caused by their bombs and guns.

how would the problem have solved itself, guess the sinhalese would have suddenly started loving the tamils in the 80's after hating them in the 70's.
LTTE terrorists should not be allowed to set one foot in India.
It is with sadness we heard the death and destruction caused by terrorism in India recently where over 40 innocent civilians died and almost 15 bombs were exploded by terrorists.
The LTTE terrorists have carried out similar bombings in Sri Lanka on numerous occasions, killing innocent civilians.
India, should put more resources to the counter terrorism measures, and weed out the terrorist elements and capture the other LTTE terrorists who are hiding in India.
Indian naval blockade of the Palk Straits must be intensified, to prevent the LTTE terrorists from procuring weapons and war like material from India, or any other goods, to sustain the terrorist activities.
