It's easy for them just to point finger at pakistan. We know it's pakistan but who were the people who carried out the blasts in India? Find them, destroy their network. But that involves lot of work and probably upsetting a muslim section of the soceity. So just point finger at pakistan and clsoe the matter.

Terrorism equates with muslims in everyday discourse today. This is mindnumbingly sad but a hard reality of public discourse. If you are in a room full of 10 people and take a random poll almost nine out of ten will confirm this notion. What is purely a law & order and a governance issue gets a sectarian colour. Need is to create a terrorfree environment where all citizens regardless of religous affiliation are equally safe or unsafe or heard or not heard.
Whoever wrote this piece of fiction has a poor imagination. He also has a very poor opinion of the intelligence level of Rediff readers. Only Morons will believe in this stuff. There are enough rogues in this country who can carry out such activities without going through all this circuitous route just to avoid detection. Today, thanks to the ruling dispensation in India, it is very easy to carry out such attacks with impunity without the fear of ever being caught. Notice how Parliament attacker Afzal Guru is being treated like a son-in-law in prison and being given biriyani for lunch and dinner every day. Those wearing skull caps used for Friday prayers need not wear helmets while riding two-wheelers as they are then above the law. The traffic police will never touch them. The message is loud and clear- that for vote bank considerations what is the cost of few a lives here and there, specially when they are confined to BJP ruled states? To some people, Jihad is their birthright and they shall have it. In exchange of their votes it is the birthright of some of our politicians and they must have it. After all in India, appeasement of Muslims is our brand of secularism and those with a different opinion are simply communal!

Now that you presume to be the judge, jury and executioner of all Indian Muslims, do take the trouble of thinking out of the box for a moment! This may sound like a conspiracy theory but it is indeed quite plausible that right wingers like you have masterminded these blasts to push the secular Hindus like me into panic and voting for the BJP.

What I have said is 100 percent in practice in West Bengal if not elsewhere also. Appeasement has never solved anything and never will like a spoilt child who has been made socially unfit by its parents. Unless you have an attitude of Zero Tolerance towards terror, it will keep growing. Today, West Bengal is the safest place for terrorists of every shade and country to hide and move about with impunity. In every major terror strike there is inevitably a link with West Bengal and/or Bangladesh. Even the Kandahar Airbus hijack had a prominent link with Leftist Mr. Chatterjee's state. It is the biggest gateway for settling infiltrators from across the poorly manned borders to be given Indian citizenship papers for settling down in any part of India thereafter.
This appears to be a joke planted by the IB. If IB had so much information, why couldn't they simply stop the blasts? Only fools can believe this piece of news. I wonder if IB also knew what the terrorist had for breakfast on that day!
The IB has come up with these findings after so much damage has been done. They are in a REACTIVE mode. What are the PROACTIVE steps that the IB needs to do to avoid recurrence of such incidents?
Our country's police machinery is a shame. Our policemen are busy taking petty bribes and sucking up to politicians. They have lost the basic art of developing and sustaining a good information network that can alert them of anything suspicious in their neighbourhood.
