India Appeals
by S R Ganguli on Jul 31, 2008 09:04 AM  Permalink  | Hide replies

I heard the foreign minister Pranab Mukherjee on a TV channel yesterday (30.07.08) APPEAL to Pakistan to stop firing and infiltration across the LOC. Perhaps India will appeal in the next phase of escalation of terror to Bangladesh, Myanmar, Nepal etc. to stop terrorist infiltration. To what extent we will go soft on terror, politicians only know.

no party has done anything like that so far.

Even after all the blasts, our PM 'appeals for calm' and says that 'he will not tolerate' this kind of terrorist acts :-)

Kangress govt has been traditionally a hij-ra govt.

IB is a sham and India's shame! We should stop listening to these nonsense. By blaming Pakis they are protecting Indian Islamic Terrorists. We dont need to look elsewhere.. Look around, every 6th person is a terrorist or related to to a terrorist in India.

According to STRATFOR, the IB should beef up its intelligence capabilities to counter Kashmiri militants who have begun to target other parts of India."

Still the IB is miles behind the Israeli MOSSAD in counter-terrorism activities and pro-activeness and cannot be compared.

IB is India's Pride - the US rates it as one of the top 5 intelligence agencies in the world on par with the British MI5 and the French agencies. If you do not know anything about it, please shut up. Here I quote directly from a report in a Pakistani newspaper:

"India’s Intelligence Bureau (IB) has been ranked among the world’s top five intelligence agencies, in terms of its reach, efficiency and a high level of sophistication. The US-based Strategic Forecasting (STRATFOR) has also put it as one of the ruthless organisations exhibiting brutality.

Set up in 1885, IB holds the distinction of being the oldest intelligence agency in the world. It was recast as the Central Intelligence Bureau after independence in 1947, under the Home Affairs Ministry. Its main area is to garner intelligence from within India and also execute counter-intelligence and counter-terrorism tasks.

The STRATFOR report says that the IB’s strength is in its ability to conduct electronic surveillance. It is among the world’s five best intelligence services when it comes to conducting physical surveillance, bugging hotel rooms and carrying out “black bag jobs” that means surreptitious entries into structures to obtain information. They include lock picking, safe cracking, key impressions, finger printing, photography, electronic surveillance (audio and video), mail manipulation (flaps and seals), forgery and a host of other related skills.

When the ex-Chief Justice of India Raghunath Mishra had said that women's place is in the kitchen, he was severly criticised. When the President of Harvard University had remarked that female students never did good in maths he had to ultimately step down. But all these criticisms did not dilute the hard facts. Women are not good in politics and they cannot match the skill of men. Indira Gandhi admitted to that reality. She had said even men were better as cooks or tailors. Therefore please do not pick on Swaraj. True she should not be in politics after she had very badly messed up when Sonia Gandhi was to don the mantle of the PM. Because Constitutionally any body can become a PM including a foreigner for at least 6 months. Then one day break and again 6 months. Chatterjee is partyless but he is still the Speaker. PM does not belong to Lok Sabha. I understand Foliman would tell one that anybody can do anything in the name of our Sacred Constitution.

I also believe that what Sushma Swaraj has said is baseless but you will have to accept the fact that Amar Singh & any of his partyman has not come and condemned the blasts and everyone knows that he has got links with SIMI.

We are the problem
by AutoShankar on Jul 31, 2008 08:54 AM  Permalink

People say sack the politicians on notice boards and will go an vote for the same people in the next elections. There is no basic minimum standard to be a politician or decision maker in India. In the end, we get what we deserve collectively. The politicians are only a reflection of our personal corruptedness ( if there is such a word !).

Why were Wagon R cars used ?
by Suresh on Jul 31, 2008 08:49 AM  Permalink  | Hide replies

The police and the investigating agencies seem to have missed an important clue in my opinion. Why were Wagon R cars used in 3 of the 4 places ? Obviously the person driving them / using them were well built -either fat or above 6 feet in height. Getting out of the other cars (except Versa)is tough for such people. This in itself should give the investigating authorities a good profile to build up. Think about it.

Cherry ji

Also from the TV images I watched, a lot of forensic evidence was lost as the police officers who were taking the bombs out of the cars were working with bare hands and that too in a clumsy manner packing up all the stuff in what seemed like a bedsheet. Instead each and every piece of the bomb should be handled ery carefully and investigators would have got some finger prints. Also the way the car was opened by the police, by smashing the windscreen was foolish. There again, they might screwed up as some palm and finger print could have been picked. Our police should learn from Scotland Yard. They manage to pick up DNA evidence from crime cars by using microscopic evidence to get small pieces of evidence like hair that is found in the car.

Wagon provides maximum space in that size of cars. So terrorists can fill maximum ammunition in it. This facilitates both transportation of ammunition and maximum impact in detonation. 29 people were killed in the wagon R blast in hospital. Off course your reason is also true.
Hey, Am I advertising Wagon R.... No No..

Learn from KGB and MOSSAD
by Abishek Dasore on Jul 31, 2008 08:42 AM  Permalink  | Hide replies

same old story. Master minds are in pakistan. Now indian governemnt is going to ask pak gov to handover them to india and pak gonna say they are not in pakistan. Why don't we give RAW and IB the power/will to kill enemy thru secret operations like KGB and Massad does? Here IB knows name of people involved and where they live. whynot kill them instead of asking pak to handover them?

Absolutely correct let the masterminds pay the price first. A country on Billions cant murder (yes Murder) one rat called Dawood. if you cant catch him, murder him.
If u cant catch Pakistani Terrorists eliminate them. Answer Pakis in theri way.

Its better to kill few inncoent Pakis than letting them kill innocent Indians..if a choice needs to be made
