How the Jihad originated 1400 years back and how the nature and idol-worshipping pre Muslim Arabs were the first nation to be traumatized by Islam. The Arabs being the only nation who were not given the choice of paying Jaziya and remaining non-Muslim, a courtesy extended later to all non-Muslims. The choice for the nature and idol-worshipping pre Muslim Arabs was only Islam or Death. Hence there are no surviving nature and idol-worshipping non-Muslim Arabs today. A point missed by many Arab and Western historians.

How do u know?Did u live 1400 years back or what,this is the problem of religion and history,everyone comes up with their own intrepretations...all religions suck...all they do is divide and rule...we are indians first then hindus muslims christians

Well I am really aghast by some of the comments, against both the religions, I really pity the mentality of the so called educated people, please people, we all know all of them who are doing these activities do not have anything to do with Allah or Islam, they want to create instability in India, and by writing the comments like these, you are supporting them

Can rediff stop this nonsense about any relegion.Can't you guys monitor what the hell is being written.Be it Hinduism or Islam or any other else.Why to blame relegion?This is the individual perception about God and let us not be fanatic about some one who is beleiver in only ONE GOD.Why so much fuss?Any incident results in venoms coming out from some brainless miscreants.Why people do not realize or think further abut various possibilities eg.Our police and CBI could not solve the case of Dr Talwar in a month but after any blast within a minute whole world knows so called new mujahieedin outfit.Why no body is even raising eyebrow on that American whose computer was used to send email 5 minute before incident from Navi Mumbai and most of the stolen cars as well were stolen from Navi Mumbai.
