Both Cm Modi and his home Minister Sri Amit Shah are of definite opinion that our Polity is laxn towards terorists owing to our predilections of National Minority Vote-Bank syndrome. Accordingly in his assertion we are in a way ourselves violating human Rights of our silent majority by not effectively safeguarding their lives and properties , this allowsto play us in the hands of our natiional tormentors . Secularism in India died the day India implemented reservation based on Caste...on what basis modi is non secular ? Modi has done good work in Gujarat and developed the state..not like so called barking congis who have harmed the country much in last 60 yrs in the name of secularism

well no minority is benefited with reservation of Caste of poor section of hindus were uplifted but it has to limit now.
Bhopal: The Coalition Against Genocide, (CAG), added one more US Congressman to its growing list of supporters for a visa ban on the genocide tainted Gujarat Chief Minister Narendra Modi.
In a letter to United States' Secretary of State Condoleezza Rice, Congressman Joe Sestak, a democrat from Pennsylvania, outlined the complicity of Modi’s administration in the religious persecution of minorities:
“Numerous inquiries by Indian officials and non-governmental organizations have determined that the state government in Gujarat, led by the Chief Minister Modi, provided leadership and material support for the rape and murder of women and young children, and the destruction of homes, business and resources primarily belonging to Indian Muslims”.
The letter went on to detail the broad spectrum of human rights abuses ongoing in Gujarat: “Mr. Modi ordered a census, ruled illegal by the Gujarat High Court, of the Christian community – the same action he took prior to the orchestrated attacks on Muslims in 2002.”
And “Under his leadership, the state of Gujarat passed an anti-conversion law in strong violation of the Indian Constitution and international human rights norms to which India is a party,” the letter said.

Congressman Sestak urged Secretary Rice: “I am deeply concerned that a visit to the United States by Chief Minister Modi is in violation of the International Religious Freedom Act and will provide tacit approval of his reprehensible statements, policies and actions that violate the core of the human rights upon which our nation is founded, I respectfully request your leadership in publicly condemning his actions and policies by once again denying Chief Minister Narendra Modi the right to enter this country.”
In another snub highlighting Modi’s isolation on the stage of international politics, the Gujarat Chief Minister’s name has been dropped from the list of invitees at the World Economic Forum, (WEF), being held in Tianjin, China this September. Modi’s Principal Secretary had earlier confirmed to newspapers that the Chief Minister had received an invite from WEF.
Amidst reports of a lobbying effort by his supporters to get his visa reinstated, Modi has been invited to attend a conference in New York on August 29-31st 2008.
Since the reports of Modi’s invitation surfaced in the press, CAG has launched a campaign to have the State Department publicly reaffirm its past decision of not granting a visa to Modi. Following the CAG campaign, Congresswoman Betty McCollum (D-MN) as well as the US Commission on International Religious Freedom, (USCIRF), weighed in with the State Department on continuing the entry ban on Modi.

during UPA rule the morale of intelligence agencies have been destoyed and touched rock-bottom. Political will to fight terrorism is completely absent. I blame the United Progressive Alliance, which is running like a circus. There is no co-ordination between departments; there is no command structure in government. Shrawasti (UP): a simple case of elopement by two lovers belonging to two different religious communities turned into a heinous crime committed against members of Muslim community.
A Muslim boy and a Hindu girl eloped on 7th of July in Shrwasti district of Uttar Pradesh. An FIR was filed for the alleged kidnapping of the girl. Three days later hundreds from girl's village attacked Muslim dominated village of Sirsia that the boy belonged to. Brother
of a Bahujan Samaj Party (BSP) minister is reported to be leading that mob.
The mob beat all Muslims, burnt a number of houses of that village. The most heinous is that several Muslim women were sexually assaulted and a few of them paraded naked.
Police deny any such incident have happened and in fact refuse to lodge an FIR. Medical examination of these women could be taken only after 48 hours severely limiting the hope of finding any evidence of rape after such a long time.
Reporters have seen marks of attack and assault on the bodies of women.
Legislators of Samajwadi Party (SP) walked out of the state assembly over this incident and involvement of a BSP minister. Waqar Shah of SP raised this issue in the Assembly and dubbed the Mayawati government of UP as "anti-Muslim."
Meanwhile BSP government has announced the suspension of police officers of Shrawasti districts. Lalji Verma, Minister for Parliamentary Affairs denied involved of any BSP minister in the incident. An inquiry has been ordered.
