country like india where every political decesion has taken considering votes and particulery to make happy muslim at the stake of majority sentiments security is of course a joke. india can not hang culprit like afjal guru even after court order what massege will go to terrorist that they are safe in india what ever they will do. one muslim secerterty in home said by hanging afjal messege will go wrong with muslim and terrorist and they will do more daso we can not take decesion immidiedly. only god can save us . leader will destroy the country.
I fully agree with the auther. Being an Ahmedabadi i have many examples where public security is thrown open to the terrorists. to name few, just enter into city's main railway station. there is no checking, nobody use the metal detector placed on the main entrace. one can easily enter from any side of the station which is kept open at any time. last year, one city based newspaper published an article on the lack of proper security arrnagements at City malls and multiplexes where terrorists can target easily. Even after such warning, there was no proper care or arrangements at these places. it is joke on the authorities who make rubbish statements about fool proof security once they struck on the innocent public. While we blame on the administrative system, we should take individual responsibility to be alert and take responisbility of our neighborhood by alerting the authorities in case of any suspecious activities by anyone.

It doesn't come as a surprise to me that security is so lax in Ahmedabad when being a resident of Delhi (the capital of this country) i see the same situation. Walk-through metal detector doors that get by-passed and passed all the time as if they are some strange seemingly useless piece of furniture. IT IS A SHAME.

Unless and untill each and every sons and daughetss of Mother India, except the traitore/gaddars decide to fight against the enemies of humanity and the country take up the challenge to fight handfull of terrorists being breeeded in the the dirty water/filth of Pakistan, the country can't be safe. Police and paramilitary forces can not cover each and every streets of the cities/villages. Moreover, they are more busy in protecting the politicians, the real abne of this beautiful country. When they see that the teoorists and anti national elements are reared and geared by the MPs/MLAs/Ministers who take oath to keep intact the sovereignty of the country and themselves indulge in acts of treason they loose the will to fight the enemies in diferent garbs. India can be saved only when the nationalist Muslims take up the cudgle against their Jehadi brethen, brainwashed by Dangerous moulvis and mullahs, and secondly if each of us become alert not to allow anyone to paly with the lives of innocent people. One friend of mine was saying All hospitals where demons have planted bombs (a very rare phenomenon/even in war enemies do not bombard hospitals) should stop treating the Muslims. Another said catch Teesta Sheetalwads, Human rghtists, Medha Patkars, Kuldip Nayyayars, the real enemies of Hindus and Hindustan and burn them alive for keeping mum over bomb blasts in Hindu dominated areas. But this is certainly not the solution
I personally think that the terrorists doesnt get enough mileage bcoz of there terrorists acts but by these crap news like highlighting that the blasts have been carried out in a communally sensitive area.Its high time that rediff stop glorifying these unwarranted things .I am tired of rediffs comparisions whether in where is the costliest petrol in world or in chepest city or these crappy news item like the one they have done over here
Shrawasti (UP): a simple case of elopement by two lovers belonging to two different religious communities turned into a heinous crime committed against members of Muslim community.
A Muslim boy and a Hindu girl eloped on 7th of July in Shrwasti district of Uttar Pradesh. An FIR was filed for the alleged kidnapping of the girl. Three days later hundreds from girl's village attacked Muslim dominated village of Sirsia that the boy belonged to. Brother of a Bahujan Samaj Party (BSP) minister is reported to be leading that mob.
The mob beat all Muslims, burnt a number of houses of that village. The most heinous is that several Muslim women were sexually assaulted and a few of them paraded naked.
Police deny any such incident have happened and in fact refuse to lodge an FIR. Medical examination of these women could be taken only after 48 hours severely limiting the hope of finding any evidence of rape after such a long time.
Reporters have seen marks of attack and assault on the bodies of women.
Legislators of Samajwadi Party (SP) walked out of the state assembly over this incident and involvement of a BSP minister. Waqar Shah of SP raised this issue in the Assembly and dubbed the Mayawati government of UP as "anti-Muslim."
Meanwhile BSP government has announced the suspension of police officers of Shrawasti districts. Lalji Verma, Minister for Parliamentary Affairs denied involved of any BSP minister in the incident. An inquiry has been ordered.

I am ashamed at comments like yours. I do understand how it hurts when minorities don't just get equal rights but much more than that but this is no way to react. Any acts of criminal nature, any torture is inhuman and will always be, whether it is committed by hindus on muslims or vice-versa. Muslims who HAVE NATIONALIST SENTIMENTS FOR INDIA are as INDIAN as You and ME.
We saw the movie the Kingdom. In it right after a sucide bomber blew up some Americans a second explotion devastated the survivors and their helpers as it was in ambulance. It is like plan B to terrorists - it discourages those engaged in rescue operations and hence the good people and it also ensures that more people are killed as if the first bomb doesnt get enough people, the second bomb gets the crowd after that. To the victims and the family bombing of rescue operations sends a chilling message of hopelessness and hence amplifies the terror message. I think the security agencies now need to be ruthless with the terrorists as these terrorists have now violated the last iota of humanity and deserve to be treated as target practises.

We do not want any special treatment from any government we just want simple living, If you like to call off the Haj pilgrims subsidy we never mind in this and ask them to give funding to Hindu pilgrims to Amarnath, Sabarimalai & Kailash Mansarovar we are happy in this. It not against Muslims it is against Islam which is increasing nearly at 200% today Did you known the answer such Violent, Aggressive, Cruel is spreading so Fast?. Why people want to understand and revert back to it if the followers are all terrorist? Do people really be aware of what happen Behind the Door of any Parliament in the world think over IT

'200%' growth rate does not mean anything... in any field u will see that the best guys are lesser and lesser... and the average guys are the next and the less intelligent and less capable are maximum! "the world was not created to be permanent or peaceful by God"... both the Hindus and Muslims should remember this ... we are all born to suffer! one way or other, everyone suffers... for suffering is the basis for the world.
to stop terrorism and specially clandestine support and sympathy for terrorists by their community I have a solution/suggestion. whoever is found in anti-national/terrorist activities he should be publicly hanged BUTTT his family should also be thrown out of India. complete family. We should make it a compulsory law. No human rights no bullshit...whole family will have to leave India. then such terrorists will think twice before commiting such crimes. Now most important...we should also have a clear definition of being "anti-national, and terrorist"....only bombing public places is anti-national? no..terorrism with anti-national effects also means threatening a particular minority using law and order, creating riots and genocide, in the name of "freedom of speech" deliberate humiliation of a particular community or religion ( which will consequently lead to communal tention and further creat more terrorism ) so DIRECT TERRORISM...and INDIRECT TERRORISM are equally hazardous and should be equally punished. Law and order should be same for all.

it is not correct. holy quran clearly asks nonblievers to be devastated and punished cruelly. if u want i can quote chapter and verse. But i also see a lot of muslims whoare truly indian. we should be unpardoning to those who are traitors. But we are ambivalent and nothing will come out of this battering. we will have more unless we are clear in mind.
