Let states be allowed to take action against Pakistan
by Kannan on Jul 27, 2008 01:03 PM  Permalink  | Hide replies

Since the Indian union is unable to take action and protect its citizens, states should be allowed to come together and take action on their own (if necessary by raising their own forces). For instance, Rajasthan, Gujarat and Karnataka could pool resources and raise an army to combat Pakistan.

I know its a long shot but citizens are now tired of the "Shanthi Rakho" messages from our politicians

I think blaming pakistan is unnecessarily taking off the blame from Indian terrorists. True, they might be getting some kind of help; .. but, first lets clean up local terrorists...Lets not shift blame to out of country

We indians are far too diplomatic
by Sunny on Jul 27, 2008 01:01 PM  Permalink  | Hide replies

All the so called secular media and socialist thoughts have made indians far too diplomatic and far too politically correct. Things have reached to such a point, that we don't even dare to blame the muslims of our own country for all the anti-national activities that some members of this community are indulged in - day in and day out.

What we need is a strong reaction both from the people and the government when anything like this happens - so that no one dares to do this again against our innocent citizens. Otherwise the day is not far when these jehadis and Indian ISI agents will tear the county apart and break it into 500 parts - like what Zia wanted.

Sadly our politicians (and probably the people) will only realize it after it way too late and we'll need another partition of our country to live peacefully. We need to learn something from the US on this.

Vote Us and Banish Terror, BJP slogan.

After Jaipur, comes Bangalore - both states ruled by BJP. Today, it is Ahemedabad and in Modi's own constituency. Before that Akshardhaam - Gujarat, another state ruled by BJP. The spin that Modi could stop terror has burst. When the BJP led NDA ruled, the terrorist even had the audacity to attack parliament!

Terrorist have struck two states in two days. If a third blast occurs in the next few days, it is not BJP states, Congress states, Hindu areas, Muslim areas but India that is under attack.

It maybe a time for a national government that encompasses the UPA, NDA, UNPA and the Left. If the situation deterioates further, let such a government declare emergency for 6-12 months and tackle terrorism on a war footing

Now "terrorists" plant low explosives designed not to kill or destruct but symbolic fear. The government hand is suspected.

Why should any terrorist outfit resort to such tactics?

The BJP is smarting from their loss in the Parliament Vote. They went to the extent of enacting an entrapment to pass it of as sting operation to discredit Parliament. Before that their Leader was caught bluffing by Pranab Murkherjee. Analysis of cross-voting showed that the maximum defections came from Karnataka. MPs are jumping of a sinking ship like rats.

They converted Gujarat as a Police State and now sell this Police State to rest of the country as a model. This police state and Modi model has gone Pop

We've voted him. We'll demand action. To support him, these falthu media and secularit ppl shd be kept out of picture.

Shame on the persons doing this
by Susil Kumar Gupta, FCA, DISA on Jul 27, 2008 01:00 PM  Permalink

It is very shameful that innocent human beings are targetted in the name of God / allah / zihad. It is really not understandable what the intelligence agencies and similar departments of the country are doing. Whether they do not get any hint about theses plans of anti social elements. If it is so then their working needs a review.

I'm sure that the Leftist-Islamist combine wants to pop Modi's model by arranging some bomb blasts. It's not like such behaviour is beneath their vile scruples.

And Pranab Mukherjee is a typical Sonia-Rajiv bootlicker. His logic is specious that since, NPT became operational in 1970, Nehru could not wanted to sign it. It is criminal ignorance, not to be aware that the idea of NPT was born in 1960 itself when the French detonated its nuclear devices at Sahara. Nehru in his speech on Disarmanent from Strength, 1962 enthusiastically called for self-disarmament and capping of all nuclear tests! As for the nuclear tests in 1998 all credit is due to the BJP since previous congress regimes had CIA moles who scuttled the nuclear testing programmes twice, in 1983 and 1995. Richelson, himself writes that the americans were not able to detect tests in 1998 because of the incorruptible nature of the NDA regime.
