blasts
by An Indian on Jul 27, 2008 01:25 AM  Permalink

Nothing will happen after some days people will forget and the politicians will forget tommorrow. And everything is back to normal. Its so disgusting why does government do not improve the CBI and the state police. The amount of passion shown by the political parties in supporting and opposing the nuclear deal, if they had shown in finding the culprits or enacting laws like TADA, it will help preventing these blasts. It once again proves Democracy does not work in all the countries. May be communism is better for our Country. See what China does to Umighar rebels. How they were able to control them.

I am suspicious on Congress..
by Guest on Jul 27, 2008 01:24 AM  Permalink  | Hide replies

what are the current issues?
1. Inflation
2. Proving majority in parliamnet and spending money for the MPs?
3. Moving the Nuclear deal smoothly.

Dont you think these blasts are done to hide or forget the mainline issues? I doubt the congress ppl could be behind. As the elections are on the way, creating a panic in BJP ruled states will strongly influence in the election results. Guys out there... Think... If BJP loses for no big deal and congress can win without serious election campaign..

What u ppl say..?
I may be wrong also...

Benjamin Franklin
by san man on Jul 27, 2008 01:19 AM  Permalink

Founding American statesman Benjamin Franklin said there should be moderation in all things, including in moderation itself. This means that if someone breaks into your home and attacks your wife and children, you don't sit there preaching the virtues of moderation to them. It's time to get angry. We must get angry at the crooked "peace" proponents who want us to always ignore the pain of the bombing victims. They keep calling TADA/POTA "draconian" but offer no solution to stop the bombings. These voices have no credibility. We need tougher laws to deal with these tough circumstances.

Solution ???
by irir123 on Jul 27, 2008 01:05 AM  Permalink

convert the cellular jail in the andamans into something similar to the Guantanamo Bay thing which the US military is using as a torture cell for anti-american elements - take all suspected militants/terror leaders to that place and give them the treatment - no more time for soft measures - India badly needs someone like Sardar Patel who could put his feet down and take strong action

or else, invite George W Bush to run our country - for all his moronity, at least he is keeping his country safe after 9/11

Let's all be rational here..
by Virgo on Jul 27, 2008 01:05 AM  Permalink  | Hide replies

The terrrorists supported by Paki ISI are clearly bent on creating distrust and communal violence between Hindus and Muslims. Let's not help them in their evil design.

By blaming all Muslims and spreading hatred, we Hindus will only fall into the evil designs of the terroroists. By the same token, Muslims who act defensively and aggressively to allegations by the Hindus also fall prey to the designs of the terrorists.

Let's all be calm and work together to eliminate the terrorists. The Muslim community has to become proactive to help the authorities to for ever eliminate the bad apples in their community. By being defensive and being in denial will only help the terrorists and will not help in defusing mistrust and divisiveness.

Let's stop pretending that the terrorists have only a one-track plan. You keep claiming that the terrorists only want communal polarization. But you are not seeing the other trap of the terrorists, which is that we should become so meek and tolerant of these bombings that we will keep suffering them until we are bombed to pieces. So let's not pretend that the terorists have a one-track plan. They want us to be damned if we do, and damned if we don't.

Given that fact, then I'll take my chances by reacting vigorously, instead of not at all.
We need to criticize all groups in this country who support peace with Pakistan. These people are making us wide open to all kinds of bombings. Those who support peace with Pakistan only want us to ignore the bombings and the screams of pain from the victims. Those who support peace have no credibility, and they are making our problems worse, not better. The self-proclaimed "peace-lovers" are actually irresponsible idiots who will damn us all.

I totally agree with Virgo on this. As an Indian Muslim, I am an enemy of any body who brings trouble to my mother land. First and foremost to understand is the meaning of Jihad. Jihad is a holy war against Unjustice and does not in anyway motivate Muslims to kill innocent people. Terror has no religion and terrorists have no religion, so ppl around the world need to stop bringing disrepute to Islam, As a religion, Islam is as a peace-loving and tolerant religion as any religion in the world. I think we should stop playing the blame game and nab the culprits and give them the treatment they deserve. This is my thought as a Muslim and 200% Indian by heart and soul.

I think every muslim who donot support terrorism should open their mouth against terrorism and work as a team to stop this dreadful offence. Why fear to say something against somebody who is wrong? If Islam is about peace, then please every muslim come forward to STOP this. Its your duty too as a human being. Whoever is behind this should realise that killing innocent people won't leave them at peace. God is watching us.

See, we all understand that Terror has no religion. What makes us angry is that becoz of ur VoteBank, tougher laws are not passed, and when a suspect is arrested (usually, they're muslim), ppl cry foul... Stop this drama and just take out a march supporting tougher laws. There will be no hatred
