I guess Congress strategy is not only to appease the muslims, but behind the scenes encourage the community to marginalize BJP's strength through any means. They know that the BJP governments will be focusing on development which will elevate the spending and educational levels of all people which in turn will shift people away from religious divides (like in today's Gujarat). This is danger for Congress as they have been thriving in situations of poverty and illiteracy. They cannot dream of coming back to power in Gujarat and hereafter Karnataka. They would at least want to save other non-BJP states by scaring them by pointing out these terrorist acts happening in selective states.

If you analyze the way congress has behaved against hindus, sikhs and then appeased Muslims in this country, your assessment looks pretty right. Without strengthening leaders like Modi, and stopping forced conversions in India, Anybody else except Muslims and Christians is bound to get wiped out in few years time.

If only all the Hindus unite and not fight amongst themselves in the name of political affiliations, regions, languages and culture, no muslim terrorists or otherwise will ever have an upper hand on the Hindus. History tells us that whenever the Indians (read Hindus) fought amongst themselves either the muslims or the British raiders and intruders have ruled over us. The Hindus particularly in North India loves to show their strength by going in for a fist fight over petty matters, treat their women as chattels and indulge in activities such as corruption thats against the principle of the Gita or Hindu philosophy. The parties like Congress and the so called secular parties should stop treating parties like the BJP and the RSS that upholds the cause of woes of the Hindus as inferiors and untouchables. The more they keep doing so, the more harm they are causing to India. Secular means not to believe in God or his principles. India cannot be secular in soul since it has for thousands of years known as a spiritual country that gave rise to great saints and holy men, including great sufi saints. Just not leave the duty of defending our country to the jawans and officers of the army, police and paramiliatary forces. Indian intelligence should keep a close vigil on all muslim colonies, madrasas, conferences, businesses etc. The Hindus need to have our own patriotic anti-muslim terrorist groups to assist the security forces.If we want peace be prepared for war. I would suggest not to pick just one scripture and you should do some research around it.
