Dear Sahadevan... Kerala Government has declared 25 % powercut for all the Industries from today onwards. Most of the industries are planning to cut the production by 35 % and there will min 10 days per month lay off for all the employees. Many of the BPO/ IT related companies are planning to shift to other states if the powercut continues indefinitely... at the present situaion Government cannot commit anything about withdrawal of this powercut and there is high chance that it may be prolonged indefenitely...

Sahadevan...... Any comments ?

Mayavati - Communist alliance
by anil on Jul 25, 2008 01:40 PM  Permalink

Mayawati – Communist alliance can give some good social development in our country. Mayawati cannot give social development. This is not cadre based or idea based party. But communist can give that social development. Communist can implement, Land reform, education law etc. This is very important for social development. In fact these (BSP, Left) parties are standing with poor people. These alliances, especially, BSP and CPM can get good benefit in future election also. Communist accepted, Mayavati as a future Prime Minister. This is also good news.

Illusions - the nightmare of our political leaders
by Revolutionary on Jul 25, 2008 01:33 PM  Permalink  | Hide replies

Illusions

That seem to be the diagnosis for all our political leaders is catching up with the juornalistic society

Does Even UP knows any second rung leaders in BSP other than Satish Mishra- Perhaps all are pigmies

Does BSP has any national governance policy, a credible ideology or a creditworthy economic policy ?

Take the regional parties joining Mayawati
1) TDP and TRS: TRS thrown out of its own TElangana people rejecting its gimmick. KCR can just say Myawati can be a PM since he might not have the ability to dream for it. TDP almost shivering on the name "chiru" . Almost deserted by several second rung leaders. Is counting whether it would grab any thing precise from andhra elections so that it can survive.

2) Devegowda JDS - No need to say about this willy fox dumped by people of karnataka. Virtually having some breath.

3)LEFT - Failed economic policy has driven bengal to poverty by its rule of 30 years which has awaken bengal to stare at left's face.

4)Ajit singh - Massive apetite for power and money. an established and recognised fence sitter. No meaning in saying that he will earn respect nationaly.

In short these thirdfront parties are none but National political orphans that are isolated by themselves standing in the road when India is fast moving with high political conciousness.

Illusion are tasty but of no use.

Why Dalit Branded PM required?
by VISHWANATHA on Jul 25, 2008 01:28 PM  Permalink

I am Surprised that, Ms.Mayaji Says, "They (her opponent Political Parties) do not want to see a Dalit in PM's Chair" as soon as results of UPAs trust vote come out.

What type of Secularism it is?
Saying all are equal, But why only Dalits who them self says Dalit Leaders are more equal.
In case Congress or BJP or any other political party fielding a Dalit Candidate in UP, Is Mayaji is ready to withdraw a non dalit candidate fielded by her in future?.

Or incase any Dalit Candidate is a Futrue PM or President Post is she ready to Support unconditionally?
Behanji Jawab Chahiye.

People using mainstream media thinks that only they are living in this country!
by swedeshi on Jul 25, 2008 01:18 PM  Permalink  | Hide replies

As you said rightly the uppermiddleclass section who reached their positions through prosperity and chance for better education are fiiling the main stream media with anti communist propaganda. They are not aware of the fact that they only represents 15-20% of India's total population of >110 crore.
They are thinking that the people who are getting less than Rs.20/- per day ;who represents about 70% our population are regularly being get exicited by the prosperity stories of the neo-rich class and global riches like Ambani,Mittal Tata etc.
Time will definitely tell who is right and who is wrong.

With your mighty propaganda machinery and committed cadre you are only making such propaganda. With an outdated and useless ideology like communism, you want to keep people poor so that you can make them dance to your tunes always. Where is communism followed as such, long back USSR and east european countries discarded it, then china turned coats is now a full capitalist economy, and the last and final vestige Cuba has started giving back lands to individuals and is waiting for the death of Fidel Castro to fully embrace Capitalism. In Latin America Che has just become a poster boy in T shirts. Even in India, Communists talk in a different tone in Bengal and are calling all the industrialists back. Luckily you got a high number of seats due to the failure of congress in two states Bengal and Kerala and you have shown your true colours. Now the people will show you your place in the next elections
