The majority people in this discussion are bengalies and that is why i can share certain things that we encounter every now and the.
When we ride an auto, the autowala consider we are equal hence no need of showing any kind of curtesy.
When we take a taxiride the taxiwala thinks we are the fools and he demands extra fare then what meter says.
The fruitwala, machhiwala thinks he is doing favour by supplying the articles that u r buying with ur hard earned money.
When we start a new project somebody stands to see that there is no progress.
All the so called best educational institutions are rajnitir akhara. See how would be engineers and doctors and teachers behave.
U protest u will be stopped by shrill voices -- moshai ke baba apni, apni ki kolkatay thaken na. etc. and yes there will be some voices and body gesture that scare u.
This is story of Bengal today for which i was a proud advocate.
Can we change this situation!!!!
It is not because of a party but it may be we need to look within ourselves. Somehow we have become Jhogrute in other people's eye.
A very wise bengali once told me when i discussed these and other issues, that since we bengalis are becoming more weak physically to such an extent that best of our girls are marrying persons from other state, as they consider we may not be suitable/ compitable monitarily and physically!!!!!
Both CPM and CPI, which started life as a parasitic non-entities, will revert back to their roots before long. They can fool only so many idiots for only so long with their puerile Commie clap-trap. They had their one chance at wielding power at the center and they blew it-royally.
karat and cpm has taken a right stand on somnath.Somnath Chatterjee thinking himself a super human being.he does not want to be guided by any party discipline.then how he would teach discipline to other members of house.primarily he is a member of cpm.Only after that he holds any post.Somnathjee has shown that how parliamentary democracy corrupts people.Its time he should step down gracefully without making much of mockery of his reputation.
Karat is the weakest and incompetent leader in CPM history. Hope the party will split under his leadership. The trend already started in Bengal CPM. Party is almost double headed in Kerala.
I hope these will be good for the country as a whole.

In 1947 when India got independent, Gandhiji told to dissolve the Congress Party and this is going to happen after the next general election.
I believe Karat has made a right decision. I dont think any other political group have the guts to do like this under the current circcumstances. CPM stands apart when it comes to party rules and guidelines.. Though the political decisions dosent hold that guts.... And also when did CPM started having parlaimentary ambitions ??? They are not supposed to do that too...
CP(I)M is a regional party.It has no national interest. This type of political party is harmful to a country like India.They cannot rrealize our traditional cultural and social structure.They loved RUSSIA AND LOVE CHINA.
