I would request the admin to please remove this news item... It is our social responsibility and as a journalist one should know how to educate the people.... If a person was killed and you said he was a dalit, then atleast it is understandable but why should we know about some MP of a party who was expelled.... It is upto the party to take their decision.... There are lot of parties he can join India.... We have no dearth of political parties....

manoj - if you don't like the news item, you don't have to read it. i hope you have no dearth of news websites either and may i suggest you visit them and get entertained.
going by your same logic - it's up to the rediff to decide what to post or not to post including the titles.

you have to understand what is good journalism if they keep on posting such articles it would be fanning a fire. the issue of caste related agendas is not very uncommon in our country and everyone is trying to use them for their benefit. rediff should act respponsibly and remove such articles.
The caption "Dalit TDP MP expelled; no action against errant millionaire MP" is totally against proffesional of any news reporting agency. These kinds of articals are slow posion, which are changing the people who are also united in the name of India not on religion, caste or race.
Atleast "Some heading like: TDP baised in taking action against errant MP's" would be good. But not like these.
Rediff will be loosing the vistors like me if these kinds of news reports are published more which is increasing day by day.
Atleast try to present in the things in postive approach.

Truth always hurts. BJP,TDP,CPM,BSP etc etc who all claim to represent the downtrodden, dalits, minorities etc have all been exposed now. "Dalit TDP MP expelled.. " is the most appropriate title. And for all the ignorant people on this forum please be informed that the 3 of the MPs who enacted the note drama yesterday belong to the SC quota of BJP . Now let us suppose even if some action is taken against them the elitist brahmans in the BJP have nothing to loose .The dalit MPs have only been used by the BJP. BJP will continue to do this with the poor and other minorities in future also.

keep seeing his party will drain
Look at this influencial political party. They dont trust their own MPs. Can't they simply ask who Aadikesavulu what did he do? "The party is trying to verify the record of the Lok Sabha to find out who Aadikesavulu has voted for".
As if the country is not divided... the press is also trying to divide the country... which already screwed up.... Press needs to be progressive not divisive... shame on u Rediff...
I do not know still how long these Dalits require to develop common sense to analyse what is right and which is wrong? When a MP/MLA have acted against the party's whip, he have every reason to be reprimended. Let caste and religion not play politics and cover the misdoings. Any how UPA was confident to sail the confidence motion and Manmohan Singh has indeed proved that, patience pays rich dividend. Mayavati's day dream has prematurely crashed which is blessing in disguise for the future of the nation. She is more or less equal to Jaya of TN and is arrogant to the core and lack the administrative skill but has only vengence quality to offend her dislikers.

hey balasubbi - the question is why adikesavulu is not reprimanded by TDP. CBN boasts for upliftment of dalits and fighting for their equal rights. why is he not treating them equal in his own party?
