When Japanese took over big film studios in USA, it was a revenge of different kind for being bombed during World War. Japanese directly influenced the American popular culture.

Same way our IT guys have taken revenge for Nixon Administration calling Indira Gandhi all kind of names.

COUNTRIES LIKE JAPAN,SOUTH KOREA, GERMANY, FRANCE, ENGLAND, ITALY, CANADA ETC HAVE GOOD ECONOMY AND THEIR PEOPLE LIVING CONDITIONS ARE GOOD.
RUSSIA, FRANCE HAS THE POWER THEN WHY THEY CANNOT SELL URANIUM TO INDIA. WHY RUSSIA STOPPED THE URANIUM SUPPLY AND GSLV ROCKET TECHNOLOGY. BECAUSE OF THE PRESSURE FROM USA.

WHY CHINA DOING BUSINESS WITH USA WHEN USA SELLING MORE ARMS TO TAIWAN. WHY THEY HAVE NOT STOPPED ALL BUSINESS TIES WITH USA.

IAEA does not allow uranium and technology to be sold to non-NPT country. India is going to get an exception through the deal. Please wake up it is already 12'0' clock.

Girish Rao... you are one of the million gullible citizend in thi country who have fallen for this "exception" line that is being broadcasted. The fact of the matter is bush has an action to ensure that american defunct nuclear business gets a boost and has revenue targets fo this. So the only peole who will be smiling after this deal is the americans. As for us we will start crying in about 7-8 years time when we start feeling the effect of this and when the us starts to dictate terms to us.

Am Adhmi

We the people of the entire nation shall be greatful to him for his long sightedness for looking at the future of the India down the line about 10 years.
But being a statesman did he have any concern on the immideate threat of the inflation which is going over the roof; food prices sky rocketing the poor man is cursing for the fate of the state.
It is a humble request of the nation to check the inflation.
Being so called farsighted and broad minded statesman don't you look at the poor man's sufferings. Don't say that the US Nuke deal will take care of the inflation and it will correct and cut the price rise. The lay man will laugh at you.

dharma boy,
inflation is a double-edged sword, controlling it will lead to lower growth and lower growth means less jobs and more number of poor people. Similarly just looking at growth is also bad. There has to be a mix and the reaction should be appropriate. Do not forget that the crude price increase, commodity increase and huge number of poor people are all leading to inflation. It will take time. People like MMS, Chidambaram, Montek Singh, Y V Reddy are all experts. They know what they are doing.

In my experiance US-INDIA relations flourised during Vajpayee period , compared to any other govt. The ties between Russia and India getting degraded during Atalji period. Because he knows which is good for Future India.

During Atalji period US-India came very close and ties improved but not at the cost of our relation with russia. NDA govt signed the largest military deal with russia (largest in Indian history in terms of amount of money involved).

Trust Vote
by PRAVEEN BELAPURKAR on Jul 24, 2008 11:54 AM  Permalink

trust vote has been secured in the HOUSE but faith lost in public.
Primeminester has duplicated what his mentor Narsimha rao did in same house. Let he come out openly and say he has matured as true poltician and know how to arrange majority. Amer singh is with him, definately Singh Is King, but which one.

That image has taken a severe beating after the way the Truct Vote was engineered. MMS has shown himself to be a great political manipulator. Leave aside his getting elected from Assam.

Biggest looser in this Drama is BJP who was on win streak in States election and people vying on BJP option as next alternative govt because of inflation and other thing.

But by sided CPM and mayavati they have loose people confidence......It defenetily effect the positive wave people have for BJP in next election....

Important lesson: People will judge you from company you keep.....
